Hey there, it's Michael. Welcome to Whole again. A show about helping survivors a physical injury and trauma, reclaim their strength and resilience through the wisdom of
today. I have a micro of meditation. For all caregivers who support our healing and growth, and support us in becoming who we're becoming.
So when you're ready, settle into a comfortable position. You might be lying down or seated or even standing. Allow your hands to rest in your lap or on your thighs,
and you can close your eyes if you like, and we'll begin. With a generous breath in breathing up fully, noticing your lungs expanding.
And now release the breath.
Settling into this moment, and if that felt good, let's do one more. A generous inhale. And a relaxing exhale,
and allow your next breath to settle in to its natural rhythm.
And simply notice without trying to fix or change anything as you breathe, reflect on this truth. I am doing the best I can with what I have.
Say it to yourself or aloud, like a gentle mantra. Let it land. Allow it to touch your heart.
And if the body feels tight or heavy, congratulations. You are human. Simply notice you're holding a lot and you care deeply and still. You also deserve care.
So with your next breath, breathe in steadiness and as you breathe out, release a little bit of the tension you might be holding.
Breathe in support.
And as you breathe out, invite the body to relax.
And as we begin to round out the practice, allow this next breath to be a thank you. A thank you to your body, to the heart. In all the invisible effort you share and support and care.
And then when you feel ready, you can begin to ease your attention and open the eyes if you've had 'em closed.
And you can wiggle your fingers and toes and perhaps give the body a little stretch.
Thank you for all the care you provide
and always remember that you deserve care as well. That's how we'll put a beautiful ripple into the world together.
And if you would like to discover additional micro doses. Of mindfulness and wisdom. You can download my pause, breathe, reflect app, and join us here every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It's seven 11 Eastern. Again, thanks for being here. I appreciate you.
