Exploring the deeper questions of the Universe with Dr Mike
You learn things from some of these belief systems, but then you have to go out and experience them. What’s your experience with Jesus? What’s your experience of the Buddha? What’s your experience through meditation? What's your experience through ayahuasca or mushrooms? That’s a place where you can actually start the conversation, not something that you read in a book or something that somebody told you that was passed down through generations, but go out and practice these things.
Now if you go to church every Sunday and have a profound religious experience and you feel connected to God, what’s more beautiful than that?
- Dr Mike
That was my good buddy, Dr Mike Riccardi. Mike was one of the reasons I was inspired to start this podcast. I met him over a year ago during a mastermind program and he has since become a really close friend and mentor.
While I was traveling last year in my van, as I passed through New York City, Mike allowed me to park in his driveway on Staten Island. I was only planning on staying a couple of days, which ended up turning into eight. Every day I woke up, before heading into the city to explore, we’d have a cup of coffee together and have some of the most profound conversations, exploring the deeper questions of the universe, sharing our thoughts on the purpose of life, and wondering why we were here, always coming to the same conclusion: What do we know about anything?
It was the start of Quantum Coffee.
I love having this types of conversations and decided it was time to start a podcast so others could listen in. It’s only fitting that Dr Mike is my first guest. He’s an amazing man and one of the wisest souls I’ve ever met. I hope you enjoy this conversation.
