Fraudology is presented by Sardine.
2022 has been a pivotal year for change in tactics, bad actor resources, and the overall landscape of online fraud. It was also a year of change for the fraud prevention industry as tech companies went from enjoying a "bull" to a "bear market", resulting in large numbers in lay offs, a reduction in budgets, and overall expectations of doing more with less.
The combination of bad actors being over-resourced, and fraud departments being under-resourced has already caused a lot of stress. And, there's no sign of the economy bouncing back to Q1 2022 levels anytime soon. So, what can be learned from some of the most defining moments for online fraud in 2022?
Return Fraudology guest Gil Rosenthal joins Karisse for the final new episode of 2022 to talk about all of the above and much more as we look to end one year, and begin another.
