Everyone has heard of Gnomes but how many people know that Gnomes are one of 4 categories of Elementals? The fire element (physical form) of the “Elemental” form which is a “ball of light” seen unexpectedly in photographs. The water spirits (Undine or Nymph) most seen as “mermaids” although not as portrayed realistically in classical paintings and mythology. They live in water and cannot be seen with “normal” vision. Every fountain has at least one “water spirit”. The earth element is represented by Gnomes who usually live in deep caves in the earth and are known to “take care of” gems and minerals.
