The fastest way to create a positive shift for the important people in your life is to fill them up with positivity about what it is that they naturally do well, by identifying when they do something well, by catching them every time they do something well, by identifying what is truly unique about them and identifying it within them whenever they demonstrate it. Because the part of them that knows this, that knows this in their heart that just naturally knows that that's an area of expertise will take so much joy from that will receive so much positive energy through that will be more inclined to reciprocate that feeling. The Law of Reciprocity says that when we give we will receive when we do this with someone else, and there's a real desire to give back. Now we don't do this from a place of over giving. We do it from a place of love where and be open to us receiving that back. It's a little bit different to what we usually do, right? So if you look at your own life, how often do you try to create a change in someone in your world by telling them what to do by trying to coerce them maybe gently by maybe toxin manipulation by trying to get them to see things from your perspective by trying to ultimately control the situation externally. Think about you in that situation. You don't respond well to that you don't respond to other people try and do that for you. So why would it work for you try and do it for other people. But you what you do respond well to is when people make you feel good. They might have heard that quote from our time me is it. Late escapes me Mary Angelou Is it the quote is along the lines of people may forget what you do and what you say. But they will never forget how you made them feel. So help people to feel awesome about themselves. Feel them up on everything that I do well look for opportunities. And you'll see so many things Transforming Your Life. I'll share a little story that was came up with a group coaching session this morning. One of the people in there works with me, works with difficult family situations and helping helping them through that. The most challenging cases you can imagine and she was sharing how there was a little girl there. From a from a family that was going through some challenging stuff. And she just said to the little girl with a big smile. I just love your dress. It's so pretty. And this little girl turned around with a big smile coming grabbed ahold of her leg and just wouldn't let go. And then her sister saw that and came and hugged her as well. Because I imagine that small child doesn't seem to doesn't receive too many words of affirmation of positivity in her life. And so it just meant so much. Now.
Most of our lives, that's what we experience we do I get as much of that positivity, positivity as we should, least of all the workplace, and often at home in our personal relationships as well.
And when someone does receive it, that inner part of them, that childlike part of them, just wants to come and give you a big hug, that same sort of energy, right? So you imagine how good that makes people feel and how we're helps them to feel and how that's going to create a much better connection. You even if they don't react with a hug or that energy, that's what they're feeling like on the inside. Even if it feels uncomfortable for them, because they're not used to it, even if it's, they're not great at receiving that sort of stuff. That's the impact it's having internally for them. You're helping them to, to move forward in a more positive light to to step more into their strength and more into their power, to find courage. To find more desire to move forward, more drive to move forward, just by some kind words, to find a way today to find more of those kind of words. Sometimes it's about us, looking for ways to, to release. And I use the word he'll regularly let go of old stuff. Bring in more of that positivity can sometimes accelerate that release way quicker than what you can imagine. And if you're the sort of person that is drawn to my message, and you're listening to this, you're the sort of person that's going to have that ability to help create a shift for other people really quickly. You're also going to be the sort of person that takes so much joy and fulfilment out of doing that. So I'd love to hear back from you. So let me know if you've tried this in the past and the reaction you've got. Enjoy the rest of your day.
