About Our Guest
Rachel Green is a passionate and creative individual, who has spent the past four years honing her skills in her unique studio, initially adorned with a simplistic wooden vinyl designed to resemble wood. Rachel's vision for her studio extended far beyond a simple backdrop however. Leveraging her artistic prowess, she meticulously designed her dream bar via Canva. Her vision included detailed specifications of what she desired for her countertop, the shelving, and other elements. Alongside her fiancé, Rachel brought this dream to life, creating a customized bar that was a physical manifestation of her vision. Her vision perfectly combined her creativity and her passion, resulting in a space that not only appealed visually but also inspired and motivated her creative journey.

Hey, everyone. Welcome back. Another episode of Get Seen,
Speaker:where we are sharing all about the Holiday Entrepreneur Summit. This year's
Speaker:fourth annual Holiday Entrepreneur Summit. So, so
Speaker:excited because this year we have a special event
Speaker:that's premiering called let's Get Seen in the
Speaker:Kitchen. And today we have
Speaker:rachel Green is a phenomenal, incredible,
Speaker:amazing mixologist booked to the nines
Speaker:in her holiday season. She is gracing us, blessing
Speaker:us with her presence at this event in the middle of all the
Speaker:things and has a lot of spectacular things in store. So anyway, I'm going to
Speaker:turn it over to her for a second so she can share all about herself,
Speaker:and then we're going to jump into a conversation of why you get to be
Speaker:there or be square. Oh, fun.
Speaker:Awesome. Well, thank you so much. It's been a pleasure getting to know you
Speaker:and being a part of your world. Nice to meet you, everybody.
Speaker:My name is Rachel Green. I'm a mixologist. I've been in the industry for over
Speaker:ten years. I'm a specialist of spirits, wine and beer, but I focus on
Speaker:cocktails. So I'm going to be doing some really fun cocktails that you're going to
Speaker:hear about in just a little bit. However, we're going to I
Speaker:don't know, but I guess a little bit about me is
Speaker:that I built this business back in 2020 by
Speaker:doing Zoom virtual cocktail events. And since then, we've
Speaker:shipped almost 10,000 cocktail kits. We do
Speaker:over two to 300 events a year. And now I've
Speaker:expanded to have my team of event hosts and my marketing team
Speaker:and all sorts of I have a team, and it's awesome
Speaker:that's just a little bit about the front end hospitality
Speaker:to corporate events and team building. Yeah, and your
Speaker:hospitality shows that the background that you have there. For any of you
Speaker:watching on video, and you'll see it when you're at the Holiday Entrepreneur
Speaker:Summit, the let's Get Seen in the Kitchen premiere.
Speaker:But for those of you guys listening, just know and be there. And it is
Speaker:kind of hard to really talk about it because there's a lot of surprises, right?
Speaker:So it's like, oh, wait, I'm going to wait. I can't say that yet. Let's
Speaker:see. The thing is that what you guys have
Speaker:in store and what you guys are creating is so very special.
Speaker:I'm so excited to be able to be a fly on the wall in this
Speaker:process. The way Get Seen In the Kitchen started, for those of you guys who
Speaker:don't know, Get Seen in the Kitchen started because I
Speaker:felt like I wanted to be more of a homemaker, more
Speaker:of that person who created this homely, wonderful
Speaker:environment where I cooked great meals for my family
Speaker:and did all the things. But I spent a lot of time on business,
Speaker:and I still do. And I wanted to find a way to
Speaker:really still not abandon my vision, not
Speaker:take the pedal off so much, per se, but merge the
Speaker:two. Because I felt like there's so many other business owners, especially women,
Speaker:who felt like I did and who really felt like, you know
Speaker:what? I'm behind a screen or I'm running here and there, and I'm building, and
Speaker:that's wonderful. I'm providing for my family. But what about giving them a good
Speaker:meal or a really wonderful drink where we put love into that
Speaker:drink? You added that lime or lemon twist.
Speaker:Right. And so I'm really excited for what Rachel
Speaker:and the rest of the team is providing and creating
Speaker:for you guys. They're going to actually provide a
Speaker:menu beforehand. So you all are going to have the
Speaker:opportunity to create with
Speaker:us and really experience
Speaker:that and be in that. So anyway, thank you,
Speaker:Rachel. When I say thank you for being a part of mean, you didn't know
Speaker:me from Adam or Eve or whatever, and my
Speaker:vision was not completely clear when I came to you. So I mean that from
Speaker:the bottom of my heart, I'm very excited seeing this all come together.
Speaker:Oh, yeah. Well, I mean, for any of the listeners on your podcast that
Speaker:know how infectious of a spirit you are, know that I was
Speaker:absolutely magnetized by you and your vision and what
Speaker:you had in store and whether or not I had all the details, I was
Speaker:pretty excited to be a part of it. Well, let's talk about you and thank
Speaker:you. Let's talk about how you
Speaker:because okay, you can probably describe it a little bit to where
Speaker:they start to get a visual because there's so many little intricacies into
Speaker:what's behind you. It's not a backdrop. It's an actual
Speaker:real working station you have there with a little bit
Speaker:of everything. Yeah. Tell us a little bit about that. How did you
Speaker:make it? How did you envision it? Yeah. Oh, man.
Speaker:Well, I mean, it all starts this isn't something that it
Speaker:was just like, boom. And it's done since I've been
Speaker:doing this for the past four years. My studio was
Speaker:originally like a wooden vinyl. It
Speaker:was like vinyl, but it was like a picture of wood as a
Speaker:background. And I took that with me for the first couple of years.
Speaker:And eventually I drafted up on Canva
Speaker:utilizing the grid structure, like what I wanted as the
Speaker:countertop, what I wanted as how I wanted the shelving, and
Speaker:what I wanted literally drafted up my
Speaker:dream bar, and me and my fiance actually ended
Speaker:up building it together. So he actually installed these shelves. This is
Speaker:actually like wallpaper, which is fabulous.
Speaker:And these are like
Speaker:the little wheel islands that you can have in your
Speaker:kitchen. They're extra counters that you can wheel around your kitchen, and there's so much
Speaker:storage in them. And I just really love
Speaker:being organized. I love when things look good.
Speaker:I've grown into being more of an aesthetic person than I ever really was. I
Speaker:was so much more of a functional person and I
Speaker:love showing up in front of this every day. It's the best. However,
Speaker:go over the last little things. These are not filled right now, but
Speaker:they will be with the different things that I'm going to be doing for the
Speaker:holidays. And then these are all my
Speaker:bidders, so I have more in the
Speaker:back, but ultimately all the ones I could fit on the shelf and
Speaker:then up here. I'm so glad you asked. Except for this bottle, which I'm not
Speaker:sure why it's there, but almost everything on the shelf
Speaker:besides this bottle and that bottle is nonalcoholic
Speaker:spirits. So as much as I love the spirits realm, the beer,
Speaker:wine, and learning about the collaborative elements of all of these
Speaker:factors, for me, what my business and
Speaker:really my ethos has grown into is inclusivity. So I
Speaker:really desire to be an alcohol optional business
Speaker:and create solutions for everyone that's from gluten
Speaker:free to dairy free to vegan to non
Speaker:alcoholic to whatever it might be, providing those
Speaker:solutions as an option, that's just customary. Like,
Speaker:oh yeah, okay, you're vegan, great. I have this total solution right
Speaker:here and it not being this big deal,
Speaker:just normalizing the inclusivity of
Speaker:our desires as people who eat and drink in different ways.
Speaker:I love that so much. And it's
Speaker:so cool that we didn't share this with you guys, but she's going
Speaker:to have two beverages that are being created
Speaker:because really this whole plan that you guys are getting to learn is
Speaker:specifically for the holiday season. So in get seen the membership,
Speaker:you guys go and experience the cooking with us
Speaker:when it's not in the holiday season. Right now, we're prepping
Speaker:you to prepare something fabulous when you have guests over
Speaker:and you can prepare something for the kids, a mocktail and a
Speaker:cocktail, right. For the adults that want it or anyone
Speaker:that wants a mocktail or something else as an option. We
Speaker:have that. We have the whole it's
Speaker:very well rounded for everyone to have planned,
Speaker:right? Yeah.
Speaker:It's awesome to see the inside the creative mind of other
Speaker:amazing women and just
Speaker:seeing what we can all collaborate on together.
Speaker:And it's all about, oh,
Speaker:what's this? And creating things together that
Speaker:really I don't know, they represent
Speaker:us, but they also represent collaboration. And we might not have come
Speaker:up with these particular recipes if it weren't for being inspired by one another.
Speaker:So I think that that's definitely something that I love from this
Speaker:whole experience. I'm so happy to hear that. I wanted
Speaker:that for you guys so much and I'm so grateful and excited being
Speaker:like a fly on the wall of the email, like when you guys are talking
Speaker:about what about this and that and the pairings. We
Speaker:have someone doing a wine pairing, right? Will you meet her on
Speaker:another episode? And so basically it's like you guys are talking
Speaker:about what pairs well with the foods that are being created. So it's really
Speaker:just a very collaborative experience.
Speaker:Okay, so I found you through
Speaker:business, collab, a friend, all the things in the industry, right.
Speaker:And when I found you, what happened?
Speaker:What really struck me was that you already had a
Speaker:very similar vision in the way that you delivered
Speaker:excellence to people in what you were doing.
Speaker:I feel like it's creative excellence. It's an
Speaker:experience. I want to take people through an experience
Speaker:all the time. With everything I create, I want people to feel and
Speaker:have an experience. And looking at you right here with the
Speaker:background and everything and watching your social media, you're
Speaker:taking people through an experience. Right. So it's really
Speaker:exciting to see as this progresses
Speaker:forward, as we lead up to the
Speaker:15th, what's going to come. Because it's not
Speaker:fully created, it keeps creating more, oh, what about this? Take away that,
Speaker:add this. It's just incredible.
Speaker:It's a build as you go concept, as you were just explaining to me, too,
Speaker:in our pre call, which
Speaker:I'm getting into the appreciation of, I'm
Speaker:honestly such a big fan of just winging it because
Speaker:you never know what you discover in the moment.
Speaker:And I think that over the past at least 15 minutes of
Speaker:us chatting before we went on live is
Speaker:those moments where you're like, wow, I'm inspired by this,
Speaker:or this particular little micro thing that somebody else said really
Speaker:drove me to come up with this whole massive idea. Right.
Speaker:So I think it's really quite fun. Yeah.
Speaker:I'm glad you're enjoying yourself and I'm so excited for you guys who are listening,
Speaker:who are going to get to be there. So the Holiday Entrepreneur Summit
Speaker:get seen in the kitchen portion. So the main event is the
Speaker:16th. Let's get seen in the kitchen.
Speaker:Is going to be on the 15th. So how it's going to go is
Speaker:at six Eastern. It's going to be streamed.
Speaker:So if you are a confirmed guest, we're going to stream it into a members
Speaker:only area where you can watch, and you're going to be able
Speaker:to be here with all of us, and
Speaker:I'll be able to relay things to them
Speaker:and we'll be able to answer things potentially. But we're going
Speaker:to really be getting our hands into stuff and talking and doing things
Speaker:because you guys are going to hopefully be doing the same if you feel like
Speaker:it. Or you can just watch. But really, it's going to be about a
Speaker:meal and beverages and all of these things that are an
Speaker:experience that you can then take and learn and create with us
Speaker:or in the future as you go through the holidays. So you'll be able to
Speaker:learn the meals, cook the meals, you'll learn the beverages, how to cook them. You'll
Speaker:be able to know there's a little surprise coming up where you'll be able to
Speaker:know how to shop for the ingredients, all the things, but it is
Speaker:live at 06:00 p.m. On the
Speaker:15th Eastern time. Anything else you
Speaker:want to share about that, Rachel? Besides where they get to follow you? Of course
Speaker:they get to follow you. Well, I'll throw in
Speaker:an extra little teaser for you guys as we're going through this
Speaker:content and we're co creating together through the social channels, which
Speaker:you got to stay active in following, otherwise you're going to miss something.
Speaker:But is that you're going to learn how to batch
Speaker:cocktails for cocktails and mocktails or alcohol optional
Speaker:cocktails for the holiday season. You're going to learn how
Speaker:to develop your own
Speaker:evolution of your own cocktails. And I think I
Speaker:even included a really fun freebie that is
Speaker:a home mixology mastery ebook. It's my ebook. That is a
Speaker:pretty robust document that takes you through
Speaker:home shopping lists, ice tools,
Speaker:styles of mixing and core recipes so that you can build
Speaker:your own recipe book from home. That's incredible.
Speaker:That's a massive value. That's incredible.
Speaker:Okay, well, I'm going to end us off here. Thank you so much for
Speaker:joining us today. We will soon see you soon at the Holiday
Speaker:Entrepreneur Summit. Bye, everyone. See you guys soon.
