Growing up he never was one of the big names, and in fact wasn’t even going to make his high school varsity team at Cleveland Heights according to his middle school coach.

Jr wasn’t considered a top player in the state or the country and was pretty much under the radar his whole career. He won a state championship his junior year at Cleveland Heights and earned a scholarship to St. Bonaventure University. The Bonnies made the NCAA tournament his sophomore year and lost to Kentucky in double OT at Cleveland State.

Jr Played 2 years in the NBA with 3 teams. Boston, Cleveland, and Golden State. He was All-rookie 2nd team with Boston. After his time in the NBA, Jr Went on to play 13 years professionally in Europe.

Jr Bremer’s story is one that every player, coach, and parent should hear. You don’t have to be a big name or get tons of exposure, you just need to keep working at your game and eventually opportunities will come your way.
