\nNazism\u00a0is a form of\u00a0fascism\u00a0and showed that ideology\u2019s disdain for\u00a0liberal democracy\u00a0and the\u00a0parliamentary system, but also incorporated fervent\u00a0antisemitism,\u00a0scientific racism, and\u00a0eugenics\u00a0into its creed.

\nWe have had 75 new security laws since September 2001. In June we had police raids of News Corp journalist and the ABC headquarters. Dan Oakes and his producer Sam Clark were responsible for a series of stories aired in 2017 that the ABC called\u00a0The\u00a0Afghan\u00a0Files.\u00a0They were based on leaked documents from a stalled defence force investigation into allegations that Australia\u2019s special forces in Afghanistan had committed war crimes. Long before the AFP arrived at the ABC, the source of those documents had outed himself. Military lawyer David McBride has now been committed for trial in the ACT Supreme Court. He admits to leaking defence force documents, but will plead not guilty, on the grounds that he was acting in the public interest\u2026 Even more alarmingly, the search warrant that the AFP coppers brought with them to the ABC said that they suspected ABC reporter Dan Oakes, as well as McBride, of committing crimes: among them \u201cdishonestly receiving stolen property\u201d from McBride\u2026. In other words, in the AFP\u2019s view, Oakes is not a journalist. He\u2019s a fence.
