Dina is the first trans artist\u00a0to ever perform live on ABC. Dina also headlined at San Diego Pride 2017 where she performed to over 10,000 party goers. Dina is actively\u00a0involved in the LGBTQ community and various charity organizations.\r\nDina has begun to see herself as an activist. Candy Magazine recently named her as a leader of the Trans revolution, alongside Laverne Cox and Janet Mock. The magazine also counted her as a \u201cPioneer\u201d with Amanda Lepore. \u201cI realize now that every artist is an activist to some degree,\u201d she says. \u201cWe all have a message we hope to share; causes we believe in. I learned from Laverne Cox that with visibility comes great responsibility.\u201d\r\nAs an artist, Dina\u2019s first track, \u201cBubble Wrap,\u201d was about breaking free from suffocating people. \u201cI hate when people try to stifle my creativity,\u201d she says. Her next single, \u201cBlack Widow,\u201d was about a backstabbing friend. \u201cI love singing about evil bitches,\u201d she laughs.
