Jesus said, “On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you.”

2) Sometimes, judgment from God comes at times that people would not expect. For the children of Israel, God DELAYED His judgment against the sins of King Saul, and it manifested during the reign of King David. God is a God of holiness, righteousness, and justice. And He makes right that which was wrong, but it sure can come at a weird time.

3) Legalistic Larry. Dogmatic Debbie. These are the people that didn’t like Jesus. Oh, they loved their religion. But they didn’t like Jesus because He didn’t fit into their system. It sure is good that we don’t have these people in OUR church. There are no legalisms in the church we go to, even if we have our own church's ten commandments. After all, we have to maintain standards. Just as long as their OUR standards.
