8\u00a0Good and upright\u00a0is the\u00a0Lord;

9\u00a0He guides\u00a0the humble in what is right

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
11\u00a0For the sake of your name,\u00a0Lord,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0forgive\u00a0my iniquity,\u00a0though it is great.
12\u00a0Who, then, are those who fear the\u00a0Lord?
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He will instruct them in the ways\u00a0they should choose.[b]
13\u00a0They will spend their days in prosperity,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and their descendants will inherit the land.
14\u00a0The\u00a0Lord\u00a0confides\u00a0in those who fear him;
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0he makes his covenant known\u00a0to them.
15\u00a0My eyes are ever on the\u00a0Lord,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0for only he will release my feet from the snare.
16\u00a0Turn to me\u00a0and be gracious to me,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0for I am lonely\u00a0and afflicted.
17\u00a0Relieve the troubles\u00a0of my heart
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and free me from my anguish.
18\u00a0Look on my affliction\u00a0and my distress
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and take away all my sins.
19\u00a0See how numerous are my enemies
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and how fiercely they hate me!
20\u00a0Guard my life\u00a0and rescue me;
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0do not let me be put to shame,

21\u00a0May integrity\u00a0and uprightness\u00a0protect me,
