The word \u201cparousia\u201d means \u201cpresence\u201d or \u201ccoming\u201d (1 Corinthians 15:22-23; 2 Thessalonians 2:1; James 5:7-8). \u201cApocalypsis\u201d means \u201cunveiling\u201d or \u201cdisclosure\u201d (1 Corinthians 1:7; 2 Thessalonians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:7), as when Jesus will will be fully revealed to the world. \u201cEpiphaneia\u201d means \u201cappearing,\u201d focusing on the visibility of Christ\u2019s return (1 Timothy 6:14; 2 Timothy 4:8).
