First, we need to see what Peter did because he is placed in the holy writ as an example. He testified. He shared what God had done through Jesus Christ, which he saw and experienced. Second, he exhorted. Anyone can cut people down. It is easy. The gift is to lift people up.\n\n2) This world is perverse. Period. The people of this world are glued into a system of Divine rebellion and fake righteousness. The world, and the worldly, love their rebellion and defiance against God. The Lord wants to reach those who will surrender, repent, and honor Him forever.\n\n3) The listeners GLADLY received Peter's words. BUT, Jesus told a parable about people GLADY receiving the Sower's words. Not every one of them became a kingdom citizen. Once received, it must make an impact. If it does not, then it is a faith that superficial. Real faith makes real change in real disciples. Not perfection, but some forward progress.","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300,"thumbnail_url":"https://artwork.captivate.fm/b6115712-ffde-487e-8e39-788dcdb7bdd2/1000-itunes-1650468149.jpg"}
