We then meet Nicole, mother of four who\u2019s helping her kids with remote learning, and her son Sean, and Sam, the general manager at PAO Detroit, a restaurant that opened just before the pandemic hit.\r\n\n\n(6:15) We learn about phase two: the impact. Kelly, Nicole, Sam, and Laura discuss when the reality of COVID life set in, the challenges it presented \u2014 each person\u2019s challenges and experiences unique \u2014 and how they each adapted to this \u201cnew normal\u201d.\r\n\n\n(16:28) The third phase, disaster management, is exemplified in Sam\u2019s testimony of how PAO helped Detroit and Detroit helped PAO back; Kelly\u2019s story of neighbors and communities rallying around first responders; Laura\u2019s reflection on the new opportunities for connection that came from the crisis; and Nicole\u2019s affirmation that we are all truly rising from the ashes.\r\n\n\n(21:33) Phase four: recovery.
