Thiel is the billionaire VC investor who was co-Founder of PayPal, the first major investor of Facebook and has become somewhat of an oracle of Silicon Valley.<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nIn this particular conversation he described the day Yahoo offered $1billion for Facebook. This would have grossed Founder Mark Zuckerberg $250MM at the ripe old age of 22. At the time FB had only 100k users, most of which were college students.<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nZuckerberg turned down the offer without blinking. The reason why he did is what I focus on in this episode.
