This includes studying how chemical compounds found in venomous animals, plants, or honey interacts with cell membranes. The knowledge from her research helps other scientists to develop new pharmaceuticals or understand how drugs enter cells.\nApart from her research, she is passionate about supporting diversity and equity in STEM and teaching the next generation of scientists to be 'critical thinkers'.
