He is also the Dean and Director of Judaic Studies at the Starr Family Jewish Day School in San Antonio, Texas.\u00a0\nOver the course of his career he has served in many communal and educational roles including;\u00a0 Associate Rabbi, Cantor, Program and Youth Director, Synagogue Administrator, Senior Educational Administrator, Principal and more.\u00a0 He has directed dozens of educational, spiritual and chaplaincy programs. Rabbi Marrus is passionate about Jewish education and believes deeply in the relevance and beauty of our traditions and faith. He is a Birthright fellow, frequently leading educational trips for young adults to Israel.
