I wanted to talk about detailers who take advantage of people during certain situations in this episode. I had a phone call yesterday after the hurricane from someone whose car flooded. They wanted to have the interior detailed, but I educated them that with water to the seats they should contact their insurance company. Sure, I could've sold them a service, but there's no way to guarantee I could get all the water. I hope other detailers would tell people in similar situations the same thing. I've seen plenty of detailers who take a car with mold and clean it and yes it looks great, but I always wonder for how long?
