Think about it, “How many times have you said something like, “Well, one part of me wants to do this, but another part of me doesn’t.”

And not all of our “parts” are on the super sunny side. But because we fear getting judged, abandoned or rejected by others, we don’t want people to see our “dark” side or what we fear will make us look like a “bad person” or seem unlovable.

Sometimes, these efforts to deny our “darkness” have us turning into people pleasers who end up contorting ourselves into whoever or whatever it is we think others want. We abandon parts of ourselves in order to try and “fit in”.

Today on The Karen Kenney Show, we’re talking about accepting and acknowledging that we all are made up of both innately good parts and some ego personality parts that could maybe use a little work. Ha!

In order to heal, it helps to not deny those parts of ourselves that could probably use a little more compassion and understanding. It’s time to welcome all parts of us to the party and learn to love ourselves as a whole.
