He references the Greek word \u201chanatos\u201d that translates as \u201cunanimity, agreement, or accord\u201d.</p>\n<p>[00:04:36] \u201cDivision, disunity, split, segregation, discord, confusion, etc.\u201d \u2013 Matt contrasts unity with its antonyms and calls our attention to their relevance in the current cultural climate.</p>\n<p>[00:09:25] Matt takes a moment to note the important of exegesis (\u201cexiting\u201d out of scripture) in interpreting the Word of God.</p>\n<p>[00:11:55] \u201cThe message that Jesus died wasn\u2019t just for the Jewish church, but for the gentiles as well.\u201d</p>\n<p>[00:12:30] Matt\u2019s circles around this concept of unity, reminding us that believers \u2013 the church \u2013 are called to be the body of Christ, requiring a fundamental kind of unity for a body to fit and function together.</p>\n<p>[00:14:20] \u201cAs we are being built together as a living breathing body, sometimes we knock the mortar of one another.\u201d</p>\n<p>[00:15:46] Matt references some parallel supporting scriptures, including Eph. 1:17-18, Rom. 8:28-30, Col. 1:10, and Eph. 2:8-10, highlighting the calling and vocation of believers of one purpose \u2013 unified.</p>\n<p>[00:15:02] Point #6: From Ephesians 3:19b \u2013 \u201cPray for the power to receive God\u2019s fullness\u201d.
