How can one build God\u2019s kingdom in an urban setting? In this episode, Clayton Shenk shares about his life in York, Pennsylvania. Clayton closes the episode by giving encouragement to recognize God\u2019s power and hedge of protection.\n\nClayton Shenk loved God, his family, and his neighbors. He showed us how a life of passion for God's kingdom can be lived well. Many on the team behind Anabaptist Perspectives were inspired by Clayton and regarded acquaintance with him a joy. In December of 2019, Clayton died after a battle with cancer. We will miss him and remain thankful for his encouragement to us and strong contribution to the church.\n\nRead the obituary: https://www.tidingsofpeace.org/clayton-shenk-obituary \n\nTidings of Peace School: https://www.tidingsofpeace.org/ \n\nListen to The Pineapple Story at: https://embassymedia.com/media/session-01-pineapple-story\n\nBuy The Pineapple Story book:  https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2682258\t\n\nThis is the 75th episode of Anabaptist Perspectives, a podcast, blog, and YouTube channel that examines various aspects of conservative Anabaptist life and thought.\n\nRead the blog: https://www.anabaptistperspectives.org/\n\nVisit our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/anabaptistperspectives/\n\nConnect with us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/anabaptistperspectives/\n\nSupport us at https://www.patreon.com/anabaptistperspectives\n\nMusic: \"The Basket\" by Blue Dot Sessions\n\nThe views expressed by our guests are solely their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of Anabaptist Perspectives or Wellspring Mennonite Church.","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300,"thumbnail_url":"https://artwork.captivate.fm/a1cb0a7e-845f-481e-a135-b3302677f2aa/avatars-000377456654-zejpwi-original.jpg"}
