He is the owner of a 143-118 record over his ten seasons as a collegiate head coach.\n\nMcGuinness, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, joined the Spartans after spending the previous seven years as the head coach of Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York. Todd previously served a stint as the assistant coach of the CWRU varsity program and head coach of the junior varsity squad from 2006 through 2009.\n\nPrior to his time as an assistant at CWRU, McGuinness was an assistant coach at both Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York from 2004-06, and at Hartwick from 2003-04. \n\nMcGuinness played collegiately at Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia, where he received his bachelor's degree in Physical Education in 2002.
