This week, Matt Geib continues the final section of Ephesians 4 with part 2 of his message \u2013 Put on the New Clothes and Burn the Old Ones.

\n[00:02:30] Matt notes how many of Paul\u2019s issues addressed in the end of Ephesians 4 is negative \u2013 he mentions that, like our tendency to gravitate toward our old, tattered clothes, we must constantly be aware of and resist the temptation to put on our old nature that embraces these things.
\n[00:05:00] In Ephesians 4:28, Matt asks, \u201cDo Christians steal?\u201d He references the guilds of thieves that many Ephesian Christians were formerly associated with.
\n[00:08:45] Matt tells us about God\u2019s dealing with his own heart regarding Tithes and Offerings and how he felt convicted that his lack of generosity and joy in his giving was equivalent to stealing.
\n[00:12:00] Matt references his book, a devotional based on Ecclesiastes, that unpacks God\u2019s call to stewardship and generosity.
\n[00:17:10] Matt warns that, from the abundance of our hearts, we speak. We must be watchful and cautious not to \u201ccurse\u201d those around us \u2013 including those we love.
\n[00:19:20] The word \u201cedification\u201d is used. Matt explains that this word conjures the idea of building, promoting, and uplifting.
\n[00:21:22] Cross-referencing Hebrews 12:15, Matt warns about bitterness and how toxic it can be to the hearts and lives of believers.
\n[00:24:37] Verse 32 sums up the whole message of this chapter and Matt\u2019s message \u2013 \u201cBe kind to one another, and forgive even as Christ forgave you.\u201d
