He can&#8217;t do it alone and kidnaps Dr. Leslie Thompkins to assist. Batman discovers Leslie&#8217;s disappearance, and rushes to track her down \u2013 and has an additional interest in Matthew because he was a medical school classmate of Bruce Wayne&#8217;s father Thomas.<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nThis episode was directed by Frank Paur and written by Randy Rogel and Martin Pasko.<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nIn &#8220;Zatanna&#8220;, the glamorous magician&nbsp;<a href=\"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zatanna\">Zatanna</a>&nbsp;is framed for a robbery during her act, and Batman swings to her defense.
