He has also been a teammate to some great players, Kobe Bryant, Derek Fisher, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Stephen Curry, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Shaquille O'Neal.\n\nKarl played in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, and was in training camp with the Portland Trailblazers. As a G-League (D-League) player, he spent time with the Los Angeles D-Fenders, Idaho Stampede (now the Salt Lake City Stars), and the Reno Big Horns (now the Stockton Kings). He has also played extensively overseas for teams like Armani Jeans Milano and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg.\n\nKarl is now using these experiences to help others as a coach and professional speaker. The former guard served as an assistant coach on the Westchester Knicks staff during the 2015-16 season at the conclusion of his playing career, helping the Knicks to earn their first playoff berth in franchise history as the team improved from 10-40 in 2014-15 to 28-22 just a year later.\n\n\n\n\nBreakdown\n\n1:00 - Becoming a Better Coach\n\n2:30 - Understanding the Game Beyond Physical Skill\n\n4:00 - Conceptual Concept of Spacing\n\n7:30 - Gap Offense\n\n11:30 - Perception and Decision\n\n16:00 - True Guided to Live\n\n20:00 - Biggest Struggle for Players in the Conceptual Process\n\n23:00 - Simplicity and Space\u00a0\n\n26:00 - Possibilities and Sequences\n\n29:00 - Choosing Actions\n\n32:00 - Concept of Structure\n\n35:00 - Building the Courage in Perspective to be Different\n\n39:00 - Try and Do Some Things Differently\n\n41:00 - How to get Players Onboard\n\n45:00 - Holding Space for People's Individuality\n\n47:00 - Absolutes\n\n49:00 - His Actionable Ideas\n\n52:00 - Conclusion\n\n\n\n\nCoby Karl\u2019s Bio\n\nBio: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coby_Karl\n\nTwitter: https://twitter.com/SouthBayLakers\n\n\n\n\nBasketball Immersion\n\nWebsite: http://basketballimmersion.com/\n\nTwitter: https://twitter.com/bballimmersion?lang=en\n\nYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/basketballimmersion\n\nFacebook: https://facebook.com/basketballimmersion\n\n\n\n\nBetOnline Website:\n\nWebsite: www.betonline.ag\n\n\n\n\nBest in the West Video Series\n\nBest in the West Website: http://bestinthewestclinic.com/\n\nSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300,"thumbnail_url":"https://artwork.captivate.fm/0e3b3440-5b62-4435-a5d5-b42b432d9af7/135e2835370674a32c6c6235a6a3e54f4f6110ae3868283f018ade21bc307ab.jpeg"}
