She received her JD from Howard University School of Law, her MBA from Suffolk University and her BA from the University of Vermont. Her clients include individuals and families of children with special needs, the elderly and others in the community.<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nMs. Hines brings personal experience with special needs to her practice, as the mother of two daughters, one of whom passed away from Mitochondrial disease in November 2013. For him, schoolwork was a daunting, frustrating, and often embarrassing challenge. He was the kid who never seemed to catch up with his classmates, no matter how hard he tried. \u201cGrowing up with a disability was like having an elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about,\u201d Matthew explained. Being diagnosed with a learning disability during high school helped he finally put a name to the problem, and to begin his journey to personal and academic success. \u201cI\u2019ve learned to befriend my elephant, I\u2019ve named him George,\u201d Matthew said. \u201cGeorge is not going away but I can choose how I feel about him.\u201d<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nThrough his own experience, Matthew knows what it means to be a teenager in trouble as well as what it takes to run a business.
