\nToday I want to share a fable called Buridan’s Ass. I heard about this from an
\ninterview with Tim Ferriss talking about his new book, Tools of Titans.
\nTim shares a short story he heard from the creator of CD Baby…Derek Sivers.
\nThe story is a bout a donkey that is standing halfway between a pile of hay
\nand a bucket of water.
\nHe just keeps looking at the hay and then to the water. Back at the hay and
\nthen looking back at the water.
\nThe donkey is trying to decide between eating the hay and drinking the water.
\nHe’s unable to decide, so he eventually falls over and dies of both hunger and
\nthirst.
\nA donkey can’t think of the future and realize that he could clearly go first
\nto drink the water, then go eat the hay.
\nAs online marketer’s and entrepreneurs, we are constantly bombarded with
\nwith hundreds of shiny objects that show up in our email boxes or we see
\nbeing sold online.
\nYou must not get caught up in short sightedness and look at your business
\nlong-term. You can do many different things, but for now pick one thing,
\nAffiliate Marketing, CPA, YouTube, eComm, Podcasting, whatever you choose, but
\nwork at it daily and become good at it or better yet an expert.
\nYou will produce incredible reults in your business and by doing one
\nthing well and then moving on to next, once you’ve mastered the first thing.
