As I record this, it is the season of the year where we celebrate holidays that include giving gifts. For me, that is Christmas. For others, the holidays have different names, but they are created in love, centered on kindness, and involve gifts of some kind.\n\nGiving gifts is one thing. Learning to receive graciously is quite another. I never could receive help from anyone. I always felt like \u201cif they knew me, they would not say that or give that love.\u201d I hated myself and was only comfortable in self-loathing. Why is it important to learn to receive graciously? Then after we receive, what do we do with the gifts we have. Using them to the fullest is the best form of thanks.\n","thumbnail_width":300,"thumbnail_height":300,"thumbnail_url":"https://artwork.captivate.fm/60c4d884-c719-4319-a18f-5a2f50cb04f0/podcast-239.jpg"}
