Kenneth Copeland expounds upon the profound concept of humanity's creation in the divine image, as articulated in the book of Genesis. He emphasizes that God created humanity with a distinct purpose, endowing individuals with dominion over creation.
Open our Bibles to the book of Genesis, chapter one.
Speaker A:That's right close to the front.
Speaker A:Genesis, chapter one.
Speaker A:I want to read verse 26 through verse 31.
Speaker A:So begin with me at verse 26 and we'll read all of these.
Speaker A:Now, I want you to read these scriptures.
Speaker A:Don't read them like, well, same old Scriptures again.
Speaker A:No, no, no.
Speaker A:Read them like you never did read them before.
Speaker A:Read them like you never heard them before.
Speaker A:I like what Charles Capp said one time.
Speaker A:He said, you know, the Bible so simple, we've had to have help to misunderstand it.
Speaker A:And a lot of the help that we've had has been people telling us how complicated the Bible is.
Speaker A:It isn't complicated unless you try to make out of it something it didn't say.
Speaker A:This is God's word.
Speaker A:It's God speaking to you.
Speaker A:So read it like that, verse 26.
Speaker A:And God said, let us make man in our image after our likeness.
Speaker A:Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Speaker A:So God created in his own image, created man in his own image, in the image of God, created He him.
Speaker A:Male and female created he them.
Speaker A:God blessed them.
Speaker A:And God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Speaker A:God said, behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth, every tree in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed to you it shall be for meat.
Speaker A:And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life.
Speaker A:I have given every green herb for meat, and it was so.
Speaker A:And God saw everything that he had made.
Speaker A:And behold, it was very good.
Speaker A:And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Speaker A:Now, let's go back up to verse 26 again.
Speaker A:God said, let us make man in our image after our likeness.
Speaker A:And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Speaker A:Now, most people have the mistaken idea here that God all of a sudden, you know, got on heaven's loudspeaker or something and asked everybody a question.
Speaker A:How'd Y'all like to make a.
Speaker A:Let us make man.
Speaker A:Would it be all right if we make a man?
Speaker A:He wasn't taking a vote.
Speaker A:Now, this has been because of a lack of understanding of how God creates, how God operates.
Speaker A:Number one, God operates by faith.
Speaker A:God does nothing apart from faith.
Speaker A:How do we know that?
Speaker A:Because the Bible said it is impossible to please him without faith.
Speaker A:We can find out right there in the 31st verse why.
Speaker A:We know that Adam had faith because God saw everything that he had made.
Speaker A:And behold, it was very good.
Speaker A:Well, it wouldn't have been good if he hadn't had faith.
Speaker A:He was created in his image.
Speaker A:He had to have had faith in him.
Speaker A:Because it's impossible to please God without faith.
Speaker A:God is a faith being.
Speaker A:Now, hold your place there because we want to refer to this some more.
Speaker A:And let's go to the book of Hebrews, chapter 11, and let's start reading with the very first verse.
Speaker A:Now, faith is the substance.
Speaker A:Faith is the substance.
Speaker A:Faith is the substance.
Speaker A:Faith is the substance.
Speaker A:Faith is the what?
Speaker A:Substance.
Speaker A:Now, you'll hear people.
Speaker A:I've heard people preach this, and I thought it was true, because I never did.
Speaker A:I just never did think about it, really.
Speaker A:God created the heavens, the earth, out of nothing.
Speaker A:No, he didn't.
Speaker A:Faith is not nothing.
Speaker A:Faith is the substance.
Speaker A:He did, however, create the heavens and the earth out of something.
Speaker A:You cannot see.
Speaker A:You can't see Faith.
Speaker A:Faith is tangible, but it is not visible.
Speaker A:Are you listening to me?
Speaker A:All right, what happened?
Speaker A:It says exactly what he did it with and how he did it.
Speaker A:Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen for by it.
Speaker A:The elders obtained a good report.
Speaker A:Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Speaker A:Now, if you get that from some translation other than Old English here, it will just simply say, through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made out of something.
Speaker A:You can see things which are seen, things which we can see.
Speaker A:We can see the dirt.
Speaker A:We can see the tree.
Speaker A:We can see the piano.
Speaker A:We can see the wood.
Speaker A:We see the floor.
Speaker A:We see our own physical bodies.
Speaker A:Everything you can see can be traced back to an original force that cannot be seen.
Speaker A:Faith is the parent force to everything in this planet that you can see with your physical eye.
Speaker A:Faith is the father of it.
Speaker A:In other words, I can see, for instance, this piano.
Speaker A:Piano case is made out of wood.
Speaker A:I can Trace the wood back to the tree, back to the seed, back to the tree, back to the seed, back to the tree, back to the seed, back to the tree, back to let there be light.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Sure you can.
Speaker A:All right, now with that plugged into our thinking, let's go back over here now to the book of Genesis again.
Speaker A:And let's see something here we found out from the Word how God creates.
Speaker A:He did it with the, with his word.
Speaker A:The Bible said he framed the worlds.
Speaker A:He framed them with the word of God by faith.
Speaker A:Now what does that actually say?
Speaker A:Words make pictures.
Speaker A:That's what it means when it said it was framed.
Speaker A:What do you do with a picture?
Speaker A:Well, you frame it.
Speaker A:Pictures are created by words.
Speaker A:Dog.
Speaker A:You didn't think d O G, you thought dog.
Speaker A:You saw in your mind a dog.
Speaker A:If you have a dog, you probably thought of your old dog, you know, black dog, big black dog.
Speaker A:Big, ugly, black, one eyed, crippled, three legged dog.
Speaker A:See every word I added to that, added to the picture.
Speaker A:What was I doing?
Speaker A:I'm communicating with you a particular dog.
Speaker A:How?
Speaker A:By using words to paint the picture of the dog.
Speaker A:The pictures came first.
Speaker A:Knowledge of the words came later.
Speaker A:A baby can think before he can spell.
Speaker A:He can think before he can talk.
Speaker A:The pictures came first.
Speaker A:He's got the pictures, but he doesn't know the words to put with the pictures.
Speaker A:But the pictures are there.
Speaker A:They're in his mind.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Now I want to teach you something right here about God.
Speaker A:If you'll learn this, if you learn this one thing right here and make it a part of your life and a part of your meditation and a part of your thinking and learn it from the Word of God and find out how the Bible teaches it.
Speaker A:It will not only unravel the word of God to you, but you can take a revelation of this and change everything that surrounds your life.
Speaker A:Because this is the way God operates.
Speaker A:And if you'll learn to operate like he operates, you'll finally wind up living like he lives.
Speaker A:Kenneth Hagin Jr.
Speaker A:Said last week in the camp meeting in Tulsa, oh, what a meeting we had.
Speaker A:He said something I really do like.
Speaker A:He said, there's a lot of people trying to go to heaven, just poor old me.
Speaker A:And they eventually make it.
Speaker A:But he said, thank God I found out in the Word I can have a little heaven to go to.
Speaker A:Heaven in.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:I like that.
Speaker A:I have some heaven right here on this earth.
Speaker A:My family's not fighting with one another.
Speaker A:My children are not out off out in the world going Wild somewhere.
Speaker A:They're all serving God.
Speaker A:My wife and me are not fussing with one another.
Speaker A:We're with one another practically 24 hours a day.
Speaker A:We work together and we pray together and we live together and we love together.
Speaker A:And I'll tell you, there hadn't been a crossword in our family for years.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:We're not filled with sickness and disease.
Speaker A:We're not filled when not any of us broke.
Speaker A:I have no debts.
Speaker A:I owe no man on this earth anything but to love him.
Speaker A:I have no debts.
Speaker A:This ministry has no debts.
Speaker A:And my wife said when she married me, she married me in my notes.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:The Word of God and the principle that I'm about to show you right now is exactly the thing that we learn to cause our family and our situation to get into this shape.
Speaker A:Now, we didn't get here in 30 minutes.
Speaker A:In fact, we didn't get this way in 30 days.
Speaker A:But we started in 30 seconds.
Speaker A:The day that we saw what was going on from the Word of God, my wife and I committed ourselves to walk on the Word and put His Word first place and final authority in our lives.
Speaker A:I made up my mind.
Speaker A:I made up my mind and I made up my heart and I made up my body.
Speaker A:Praise God that my mouth was going to speak what God said and not anything else.
Speaker A:You're never going to catch me again.
Speaker A:You will never hear me again.
Speaker A:You can follow me from now.
Speaker A:Jesus returns and you will never, ever hear me say again, I am sick.
Speaker A:No, no, no, no.
Speaker A:You'll never hear me say it.
Speaker A:I don't care how I feel about it.
Speaker A:I don't care how I look to you.
Speaker A:You will never hear me say it.
Speaker A:You'll never hear me say it.
Speaker A:All you'll ever hear me say is, thank God by his stripes I'm healed.
Speaker A:I had to find this out when I was sick.
Speaker A:I had to find it out when I was broke.
Speaker A:I started confessing out loud with my mouth.
Speaker A:My God meets my needs according to his riches and glory.
Speaker A:And I can do all things to Christ who strengtheneth me.
Speaker A:When I started saying that, you never met a broker feller in your life.
Speaker A:But see, Joel said, let the weak say I am strong.
Speaker A:He didn't say, let the weak say, I'm so weak.
Speaker A:I'm so tired.
Speaker A:My God, what are we going to do?
Speaker A:We're going down the drain.
Speaker A:The Democrats are in there again.
Speaker A:The Republicans have got it again.
Speaker A:What are we going to do?
Speaker A:I just don't know.
Speaker A:Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Speaker A:Blah.
Speaker A:And nowhere in the Bible it said for you to say what you have.
Speaker A:It says you can have what you say.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Now, I want you to notice this.
Speaker A:Out of God.
Speaker A:Notice this.
Speaker A:God communicated his faith.
Speaker A:He released that faith in words.
Speaker A:Now, science has come to the place where they have realized that the one most perfect word that describes all matter, light.
Speaker A:Well, now you.
Speaker A:They spent billions of dollars finding that out.
Speaker A:And they could have gone down here to grocery store or the drug store or someplace, wherever they got a few Bibles and found it out for full $5.
Speaker A:See if you will start out on the word.
Speaker A:You start out where most everybody else hopes someday to get.
Speaker A:You start out on the truth and you start standing on that.
Speaker A:Yeah, but it doesn't look like the truth.
Speaker A:I know it.
Speaker A:Oh, but I mean, you know, it doesn't look like.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:I know that too.
Speaker A:But that doesn't mean that it's wrong.
Speaker A:That just means you don't understand it yet.
Speaker A:When Christopher Columbus went into the Queen and told her what he'd found in the Book of Proverbs, she thought he was crazy too.
Speaker A:You know what he found in the Book of Proverbs?
Speaker A:God set a compass on the horizon.
Speaker A:Compass is round.
Speaker A:There's no such thing as a square compass.
Speaker A:It's round.
Speaker A:And that's what he stood on.
Speaker A:Most people don't know that, but that's where Christopher Columbus made up his mind that the world was round.
Speaker A:And if he hadn't had it in the Bible, the Queen never would have financed him because everybody knew it was flat.
Speaker A:Now, what I'm saying to you is this.
Speaker A:Don't ever be ashamed of your Bible where science is concerned.
Speaker A:The Bible's right.
Speaker A:Science just hadn't caught up with it yet.
Speaker A:Heaven.
Speaker A:Now listen, the way we have interpreted it might not be right because religion has told us a bunch of dumb stuff that wasn't so.
Speaker A:But the spirit of God, if you'll go to him, will show you right.
Speaker A:Now, isn't that funny that there's a promise over in the Book of Proverbs that's good for us today.
Speaker A:The Bible said that we have been promised.
Speaker A:And it was talking about the body of Christ.
Speaker A:It said that it promised that we could suck the oil out of the flinty rock.
Speaker A:They didn't know there was any oil in flint rock.
Speaker A:But God did, five, six, seven thousand years ago.
Speaker A:Isn't that amazing that God had more sense 7,000 years ago than we got now.
Speaker A:Heaven was further advanced technically when the Bible was written than The Earth is.
Speaker A:Now, the problem has not been with God.
Speaker A:The problem has been with the men that were trying to say what God was telling them.
Speaker A:How in the world was Isaiah supposed to tell us about that rocket that he saw?
Speaker A:How in the world were these men supposed to tell us about that chariot picked up Elijah and carried him out?
Speaker A:How in the world were they supposed to say it?
Speaker A:They never saw anything like that.
Speaker A:They just said, it is as fast as the lightning from the east to the west.
Speaker A:And they were exactly correct.
Speaker A:God's chariot moves at the speed of light.
Speaker A:That's 186,000 miles a second.
Speaker A:Now, a fellow that rides around in a vehicle like that, don't argue with him about something simple like oil.
Speaker A:And if he says in here that the thing was made out of light, don't bug the fellow about it.
Speaker A:Just grin and say, yeah, and then go to him in faith and he'll show you how he did it.
Speaker A:Yeah, he said he would.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Now, in the first chapter of Genesis, let's go back up here at the first few verses.
Speaker A:I want to show you something.
Speaker A:At the risk of being monotonous, at the risk of being ridiculed, the Spirit of God has endeavored from the first chapter of the Book of Genesis to reveal exactly what we found out.
Speaker A:In Hebrews, chapter 11, God released His power in words.
Speaker A:Now, when God releases his faith, his faith is the substance.
Speaker A:Now, the book of Proverbs, you see, says, he created the worlds, the heavens and the earth, created all the worlds through wisdom and understanding.
Speaker A:He knows how to use faith.
Speaker A:He knows how to use words to their fullest extent and fullest power.
Speaker A:Now, I'll remind you again that the Biblical Proverbs makes this statement.
Speaker A:He is upholding all things by the word of his power.
Speaker A:All things.
Speaker A:A L L means all.
Speaker A:All.
Speaker A:Say all.
Speaker A:All, all, all, all, all.
Speaker A:All things are being upheld by the word of his power.
Speaker A:Now, if you want to get up hell, get on the word.
Speaker A:See, now in the beginning.
Speaker A:In the beginning, God created.
Speaker A:So we're talking about creation, verse 3.
Speaker A:God said, Let there be light.
Speaker A:There was light.
Speaker A:What is he doing?
Speaker A:He takes words that paint the exact picture of what he desires to be manifested into existence, fills them with the power that causes them to be manifest, then speaks them and.
Speaker A:And when they come out, the Spirit of God uses the substance of the faith in the words to cause the picture that the words paint to come into physical manifestation.
Speaker A:If he had been standing here and used his faith when he said it and said, dog, there'd have been a dog man right there.
Speaker A:Are you listening to what I'm saying to you?
Speaker A:And when he has said by his stripes ye were his creative power.
Speaker A:He has never said anything in his covenant that wasn't filled with power.
Speaker A:His word is sharper than any two edged sword.
Speaker A:It is a living thing.
Speaker A:It is filled with power.
Speaker A:Thank God, because Almighty God said it and he said every word of it by faith.
Speaker A:And every single word of the New Testament, every single word, every jot and tittle, thank God won't pass away, never pass away.
Speaker A:It's filled with power.
Speaker A:So what do I do?
Speaker A:I take that from his word and I say it and I say it and I say it until I have set it down into my spirit.
Speaker A:Until those words begin to create the inner image on the inside of me that is inside God when he said it.
Speaker A:And God didn't have an image of me being one legged, crippled, hard of hearing, one eyed, sniveling, sneezing, sick, flu, invaded, tuberculosis, coughing, bleeding, stupid, ignorant type of a human being.
Speaker A:When he sent Jesus to the cross, that's the one he sent him to the cross for.
Speaker A:That's not what he intended to make.
Speaker A:He had something else in mind that he intended for you and me to become.
Speaker A:After we made Jesus Christ the Lord of our life, the Bible said we have been predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son.
Speaker A:And the Bible calls, the Bible itself, the New Testament in the book of James calls, speaks of itself as a mirror.
Speaker A:You ought to look in that mirror of God, the New Testament.
Speaker A:You look in that mirror and when it says by his stripes you were healed, you start seeing you healed.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:You look at that heel, Jesus.
Speaker A:I was bawling and squalling one day I was walking around my prayer room and I was, oh those precious, those stripes on that precious back.
Speaker A:I thought surely that didn't press God.
Speaker A:And it did upset me.
Speaker A:I mean, you know, I was meditating on the cross.
Speaker A:Folks don't meditate on the cross.
Speaker A:One sided Jesus is not still hanging there.
Speaker A:Don't spend your time thinking about that.
Speaker A:And the Lord spoke up and said, spoke right into my spirit and said these words, hush that.
Speaker A:And I got quiet there for a minute.
Speaker A:I said yes sir, the name of Jesus, how was it?
Speaker A:He said my back is healed.
Speaker A:And he said the healing of my back is your healing.
Speaker A:See we've majored on the stripes and forgot about that.
Speaker A:His back's not striped, it's scarred but it is not still painful.
Speaker A:The Pain is gone.
Speaker A:The blood's gone.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:There's not even any blood in him anymore.
Speaker A:He poured it all out.
Speaker A:He said, handle me a spirit.
Speaker A:Hath not flesh and bone as you see me have?
Speaker A:He's flesh and he's bone.
Speaker A:Cause he's raised from the dead and he's still a man.
Speaker A:A glorified almighty God man that's been raised from the dead.
Speaker A:But his blood's been poured out.
Speaker A:His blood has been poured out.
Speaker A:The life is in the blood, the Bible said.
Speaker A:And the life in that blood is the life that is now coursing through you.
Speaker A:The blood's gone.
Speaker A:And in his veins.
Speaker A:In his veins flows the glory of God.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Oh, hallelujah.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Now let's go back over here.
Speaker A:At the Book of Genesis, God said, let there be light.
Speaker A:Verse 6.
Speaker A:God said, Let there be a firmament.
Speaker A:Verse 9.
Speaker A:God said, Let the waters.
Speaker A:Verse 11.
Speaker A:God said, Let the earth.
Speaker A:Verse 12.
Speaker A:The earth brought forth.
Speaker A:You see what?
Speaker A:You see what?
Speaker A:The method of operation?
Speaker A:You see what God's MO Is?
Speaker A:He doesn't do anything without saying it.
Speaker A:Well, yeah, I said it.
Speaker A:Reddit copeland4times and didn't nothing happen.
Speaker A:Big deal.
Speaker A:Did you ever notice he started saying in the Garden of Eden that Jesus is coming?
Speaker A:And he said it in.
Speaker A:He said it in Genesis, he said it in Exodus, he said it in Deuteronomy, Numbers.
Speaker A:He went right on down the line.
Speaker A:Every book of the Bible, he said it and he said it and he said it.
Speaker A:There's one coming.
Speaker A:There's a prophet coming.
Speaker A:I'll put my words in his mouth and he'll speak my words.
Speaker A:And my spirit will be upon him without measure.
Speaker A:And he said it and he said it.
Speaker A:And he said it.
Speaker A:He said it through Isaiah, he said it through Ezekiel, he said it through Elijah, he said it through Elisha, he said it through Hosea, he said it through Jeremiah, he said it through Ezekiel.
Speaker A:He said it and he said it and he said it and he said it.
Speaker A:And the Bible said, and the Word became flesh.
Speaker A:Flesh and dwelt among men.
Speaker A:Glory to God.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Now you can see.
Speaker A:Now you can see how God operates.
Speaker A:When are you going to learn to operate the same way?
Speaker A:Thank God and just start saying it and just start saying it.
Speaker A:Say what he said.
Speaker A:Say what he said and say it and say it and say it and say, say it.
Speaker A:I guarantee you it won't take 7,000 years for it to manifest.
Speaker A:Some of you will think it's going to, but that's all right.
Speaker A:Having done all to stand, Just stand.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:Oh, it thrills me.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:Well now, come on over here.
Speaker A:Back to that 26th verse.
Speaker A:Why would God all of a sudden go one route since particularly the Bible said he changes?
Speaker A:Not that there's no shadow changing in him, no variableness in him.
Speaker A:Isn't that right?
Speaker A:Well then you know good and well he didn't change when he got up that 26th verse.
Speaker A:He's still operating exactly the same way.
Speaker A:Now what we neglected to notice is this.
Speaker A:Look at the second chapter, the seventh verse.
Speaker A:Now God has never violated his creation.
Speaker A:Once God said it and this earth came into existence.
Speaker A:He never has violated the earth and gone beyond it.
Speaker A:His creative power.
Speaker A:Once he created the earth, then everything made out of the substance of the earth was grown in the earth.
Speaker A:Now God's already said, let there be light.
Speaker A:And the earth has already come into existence.
Speaker A:So he formed man's body out of the dust of the earth.
Speaker A:He formed it.
Speaker A:The dirt was already there.
Speaker A:Faith was already in motion.
Speaker A:Faith is still in motion.
Speaker A:It was still operating.
Speaker A:All he had to do then is just farm it out of the dust of the earth.
Speaker A:See, if you need money, don't go asking God to rain $20 bills down on you out of heaven.
Speaker A:He'd be a counterfeiter if he did that.
Speaker A:The money's here.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:It's all here.
Speaker A:Some people think it belongs to the devil.
Speaker A:Nothing belongs to him.
Speaker A:He's a thief.
Speaker A:He didn't get any of it.
Speaker A:Legally, he's a thief.
Speaker A:So what do you do?
Speaker A:You begin to use the word of God and stand on his word and believe him.
Speaker A:And it'll come.
Speaker A:But it's all here already.
Speaker A:It's not going to come from heaven.
Speaker A:It's going to come from the earth.
Speaker A:It'll come from the earth.
Speaker A:Like one fellow said, you know, there's a big rich looking funeral procession going by.
Speaker A:Somebody said, was that so and so Funeral that died.
Speaker A:The rich man that died.
Speaker A:Yes, that's him right there.
Speaker A:Wonder how much he left.
Speaker A:All of it, every bit of it.
Speaker A:All of the money that was ever in this planet is still here.
Speaker A:And I got some news for you that the devil neglected to tell you.
Speaker A:The Bible says in the book of Proverbs.
Speaker A:Thank God, the 19th chapter in the 27th verse, he that hath pretty on the poor lendeth to the Lord and the Lord will repay him again.
Speaker A:And you, you will find also in the book of Proverbs, it says, the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
Speaker A:And one translation says, in expanding the Hebrew there says, and it will eventually find its way into their hands, except for those that are rejecting it now.
Speaker A:He told Israel for that.
Speaker A:You know how he said they rejected it.
Speaker A:He said, you've robbed me and your words have been stout against me.
Speaker A:Your words have been stout against me.
Speaker A:What was stout against him?
Speaker A:Words.
Speaker A:Words, words, words.
Speaker A:This is a word point planet.
Speaker A:It is also a planet subject to authority.
Speaker A:Authority is transferred, carried out and imposed by words.
Speaker A:Words.
Speaker A:Say it.
Speaker A:Words.
Speaker A:It does matter what you say.
Speaker A:You can't believe anything without words.
Speaker A:You have to have words, somebody to communicate to you what you believe.
Speaker A:You know why more people never did receive from God any quicker than they did?
Speaker A:Because they didn't believe what he said.
Speaker A:Oh, brother, I'm believing God.
Speaker A:What about God do you believe in?
Speaker A:Well, I'm believing healings for us today.
Speaker A:You can believe that and stay sick all your life.
Speaker A:People are doing it all the way around you.
Speaker A:I believe God wants us to prosper.
Speaker A:He does.
Speaker A:You can believe that and be broke all your life.
Speaker A:Oh, I believe God wants to save all the sinners.
Speaker A:That's true.
Speaker A:And you can believe that and go to hell.
Speaker A:If you don't do anything more than that, you never will get anything.
Speaker A:I was trying to believe God for my healing one time, and I said, well, I'm just believing God.
Speaker A:And the Lord spoke in my spirit and said, what of me Are you believing?
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:Just believing you're going to heal me, I guess.
Speaker A:He said, well, how would you know?
Speaker A:I said, really, I don't.
Speaker A:You know, I just figured maybe you would.
Speaker A:He said, what would you think if somebody said, I'm believing Brother Copeland for my rent?
Speaker A:I'd say, and this would be the next thing I'd say, where do you suppose that clown got that?
Speaker A:I didn't tell him I'd pay his rent.
Speaker A:Did you catch that?
Speaker A:I didn't tell him I'd pay it.
Speaker A:Where did he get that?
Speaker A:See, if I didn't say it, he doesn't have the authority to believe it.
Speaker A:But now if I said it to him, he has the authority to believe it.
Speaker A:Isn't that right?
Speaker A:Then he goes around and said, brother Copeland, going to pay my rent.
Speaker A:He has authority to say that whether I have ever paid it or not.
Speaker A:He still has the authority to say that if he believes what I said.
Speaker A:See how the authority was transferred by words.
Speaker A:Belief was created by words.
Speaker A: Romans: Speaker A:Faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the word of God.
Speaker A:So I just had to admit to God.
Speaker A:I said, frankly, I don't know.
Speaker A:He said, why don't you go to My Word and believe what I've already said?
Speaker A:He said, that makes faith easy.
Speaker A:How simple can you get, man?
Speaker A:I mean, you know, like brother Capp said, I had to have help to misunderstand it.
Speaker A:So I just went over there at the Word, you know, and looked them all up, the scriptures I could find on healing.
Speaker A:I found them, I'm telling you, by the dozens.
Speaker A:If I had written them all down, every pocket would have been full of them.
Speaker A:I am the Lord God that healeth thee.
Speaker A:I'm the Lord that taketh away the diseases from the midst of Thee.
Speaker A:I sent my Word and it healed them.
Speaker A:By his stripes, ye were healed.
Speaker A:If they shall hearken unto My Word and hear the Word with their ears, receive the Word and understand it in their heart and be converted by it, I shall heal them.
Speaker A:Jesus himself said that.
Speaker A:Well, man, I found them over and over and over again.
Speaker A:All that in the Bible.
Speaker A:I said, well, I believe all that.
Speaker A:And, you know, I was well before I got through finding the Scriptures.
Speaker A:What was I doing?
Speaker A:I had something to believe.
Speaker A:I've seen people line up to receive the Holy Ghost.
Speaker A:Are you going to receive tonight?
Speaker A:Oh, brother, I hope so.
Speaker A: seeking the Holy Ghost since: Speaker A: be seeking the Holy Ghost in: Speaker A:Now, ain't that funny?
Speaker A:He's here.
Speaker A:You've been seeking him, and he's been following you around all this time and has already been given to you as a gift.
Speaker A:I have seen it not hundreds, but into the thousands of times I have seen people receive the Holy Ghost literally in the hundreds, just as fast as you can lay your hands on them, one right after the other, just as fast as you could get down the line.
Speaker A:I've seen, seen whole crowds of people receive all at one time.
Speaker A:I've started down the prayer line, see them start receiving on the other end before I could get there.
Speaker A:You know why?
Speaker A:Just by reading the scripture to them, where Jesus said, how much more your Heavenly Father will give the Holy Ghost to those that ask him.
Speaker A:Now you got something to believe, believe what he said.
Speaker A:It is his word.
Speaker A:His word is his bond.
Speaker A:In other words, he's bound to his Word.
Speaker A:He has bound himself to his Word.
Speaker A:And it is not counselable.
Speaker A:It is a covenant that cannot be annulled or cancelled.
Speaker A:Now, God said.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:You found the second chapter of Genesis yet?
Speaker A:Surely you have verse seven.
Speaker A:The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils a breath of life.
Speaker A:And man became.
Speaker A:Man became.
Speaker A:Man became.
Speaker A:Well, now, that wasn't when his body became.
Speaker A:Was.
Speaker A:Couldn't have been because his nostrils were already there.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:The nose was there.
Speaker A:If the nose was there, so was the head.
Speaker A:It wasn't just a nose floating around about that.
Speaker A:I'm serious now.
Speaker A:And you.
Speaker A:You have to look into this like that.
Speaker A:Because we have been almost that silly in some of our preconceived ideas of what's going on.
Speaker A:Now, here's literally what happened.
Speaker A:God made this body.
Speaker A:I saw it one afternoon in a vision while I was praying.
Speaker A:God showed it to me.
Speaker A:He made this thing and, you know, it was lifeless and colorless.
Speaker A:But the thing that amazed me, I saw God standing there holding it by the shoulder.
Speaker A:Shoulders.
Speaker A:And his feet were touching the ground, and he was holding it by the shoulders like this.
Speaker A:And it looked like God was looking in the mirror.
Speaker A:It looked like he made that thing for himself.
Speaker A:See, God is a spirit, but spirits don't just float.
Speaker A:This ghost idea about spirit is like.
Speaker A:Is foolishness.
Speaker A:The natural mind will tell you.
Speaker A:Well, you know what I'm talking about, the Casper the Friendly Ghost stuff.
Speaker A:Some of the ideas that natural men have put on the supernatural are ridiculous.
Speaker A:God is a spirit.
Speaker A:You can find places in the Bible.
Speaker A:It talks about his face, talks about his back, talks about his hand, talks about his feet.
Speaker A:Well, a fellow that's got a back and a head and hands and feet.
Speaker A:You know, you got to have arms to have the hands connected to the body.
Speaker A:And he's got to have a head to have a face.
Speaker A:Huh?
Speaker A:The Bible said Jesus is in his image.
Speaker A:The Bible said that Adam is in his image.
Speaker A:Well, do you think Adam just kind of just floated around the garden, going through trees with a sheet on?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:He had a body made for him by God for a specific purpose.
Speaker A:The body has a very unique role to play in spiritual affairs.
Speaker A:The physical body gives the human being a realm of authority that no other being has ever had.
Speaker A:God never did had it.
Speaker A:Never did hat.
Speaker A:Never did had it.
Speaker A:Well, that's all right.
Speaker A:God never did have that.
Speaker A:He gave it to Adam.
Speaker A:It gives the man authority in the natural world as well as the spiritual world.
Speaker A:The man is a spirit.
Speaker A:Man is a spirit.
Speaker A:He has a soul made up of his mind, his will and his emotions.
Speaker A:And he lives in a body.
Speaker A:And by being made triune like God.
Speaker A:God is a spirit.
Speaker A:But by being made in the image of God, this particular creature, this particular one that God put in the Garden of Eden is far beyond anything anybody else has ever been.
Speaker A:For he has authority under God in heaven.
Speaker A:He has authority in the earth because he has a body made from the earth.
Speaker A:And he has mental superiority over everything that flies, everything that cries and everything and swims.
Speaker A:Glory to God.
Speaker A:Dominion in three worlds.
Speaker A:Spirit, intellectual and physical.
Speaker A:And his body.
Speaker A:His body became the badge of authority in the earth.
Speaker A:A spirit living in a body.
Speaker A:Glory to God.
Speaker A:That's the reason Jesus had to be born of a woman.
Speaker A:To give him the right and the authority to do what he did in this earth.
Speaker A:To give him the right and the authority to go to the cross the Son of the living God.
Speaker A:If it hadn't been for that, the Spirit of God could have gone.
Speaker A:But he didn't.
Speaker A:Now you know why the Spirit of God wants to dwell in your body.
Speaker A:If he has your body to go to Africa, he can go.
Speaker A:Oh, God, send the Holy Ghost down to the jail.
Speaker A:Help those poor forlorn men.
Speaker A:He's going to go when you go.
Speaker A:He's down there waiting on you anyhow.
Speaker A:But your body gives him the authority to express himself to another human being.
Speaker A:Are you listening to me?
Speaker A:Now God did this.
Speaker A:I want to show this to you.
Speaker A:Now he's standing there with that thing.
Speaker A:See, that coat was made for me.
Speaker A:So it's same size I am.
Speaker A:It's same size as me, but there's no life in it.
Speaker A:It's a dead coat.
Speaker A:But now that coat's got arms.
Speaker A:Make a turn sign.
Speaker A:It can't do it.
Speaker A:Why can't it do it?
Speaker A:It's got arms.
Speaker A:You know why.
Speaker A:There's nobody in it.
Speaker A:But now you put the man in it.
Speaker A:Now the coat can make a turn signal.
Speaker A:See that he can do.
Speaker A:There's life in the coat.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because there's somebody in there.
Speaker A:Now, when God held that body up there in front of him, I want you to notice something.
Speaker A:It was in his image.
Speaker A:And when I saw it in that vision, it struck me, boy.
Speaker A:I mean, even knowing what the scripture says, that he created him in his likeness.
Speaker A:In his image.
Speaker A:In his likeness.
Speaker A:I mean, man, they look just exactly alike.
Speaker A:You couldn't tell one of them from the other one.
Speaker A:Only one of them was just hanging there like this with no color to him.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And God stand there holding.
Speaker A:Well, now, if he'd have been six inches shorter than him, he'd been holding him like this.
Speaker A:Either that or his feet wouldn't have touched the ground.
Speaker A:If, you know, if he'd have made him a foot taller, he'd been holding him like that.
Speaker A:Would he had him like this.
Speaker A:In fact, he didn't have him at arm's length.
Speaker A:He had him up here like this and had him right in his face.
Speaker A:Did you notice?
Speaker A:It says he breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.
Speaker A:He did not go.
Speaker A:He's making a man, not a balloon.
Speaker A:Now, you have to scripturally discern these things.
Speaker A:The Bible says that God's word is life to those that find it.
Speaker A:Jesus said, my words are life and spirit.
Speaker A:My words, Jesus said, are spirit and they are life.
Speaker A:Are you catching on?
Speaker A:Go back to Genesis 1:26 again.
Speaker A:The 27th verse says so.
Speaker A:God created man in his own image.
Speaker A:Genesis 2.
Speaker A:7 said, God breathed the breath of life into his nostrils and man became.
Speaker A:The man became the man became.
Speaker A:When God breathed, what did God breathe?
Speaker A:God spoke and said, right in the man's face, well, naturally it hit him in the nostrils.
Speaker A:He's the same size.
Speaker A:If you and I were identical in size and identical in feature and exactly, exact, perfect, exact twins.
Speaker A:And you had me by the shoulders and got right up in my face and started talking to me, it's going to hit me right there.
Speaker A:God said, and it was done.
Speaker A:God said, and let there be light.
Speaker A:And there was light.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:God said.
Speaker A:God said, light be.
Speaker A:Light was everything, he says all the way down through there where the King James says, let us.
Speaker A:Let us.
Speaker A:Let there be.
Speaker A:Let there be.
Speaker A:It says, God said, be, be.
Speaker A:And here it said the same thing.
Speaker A:God said, man be in our image after our likeness, have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the foul of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Speaker A:Now, God used.
Speaker A:Now remember what I said.
Speaker A:He uses words to frame.
Speaker A:What kind of picture was he painting when he created man?
Speaker A:Was it a little worthless?
Speaker A:No good crawling worm?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:He used magnificent words of authority.
Speaker A:Man be in our image, have dominion over everything.
Speaker A:God used words of dominion to paint the picture of man.
Speaker A:And he still walks in that picture today.
Speaker A:Men fight, men die, men strive, men push, men pull.
Speaker A:This whole planet is being racked with the residue of man's authority that he lost and Satan's using it against him.
Speaker A:Men fight over dominion.
Speaker A:You're not going to dominate me.
Speaker A:I'm going to dominate you.
Speaker A:Here they come.
Speaker A:The residue of that dominion is still in the human spirit.
Speaker A:Even though it has been polluted and has fallen, it is still in there.
Speaker A:And blood has been shed for thousands of years because of that perverted authority that was originally so beautiful and Adam was God's under ruler.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:I don't know, that thrills me somehow, way down so deep I can hardly say it with words to realize that God used words of authority to create a man.
Speaker A:Then once the man was a living soul and God blessed him and said unto them, be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air and every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Speaker A:Now God not only created the man with words of dominion, but.
Speaker A:But now that the man is a living soul, now that he is alive, God makes covenant with him and assigns him and appoints him as the God of this earth.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:And says, you subdue it.
Speaker A:In other words, I'm giving you the right.
Speaker A:He had the power of authority in him.
Speaker A:He's an authoritative being.
Speaker A:But then God gives covenant and makes covenant with him as his ruler and gives him authority.
Speaker A:God is a covenant making God and don't ever forget it.
Speaker A:And when Jesus was raised from the dead, moments after he was raised from the dead, what did he say?
Speaker A:All power.
Speaker A:The King James says the word used to translate and mean authority.
Speaker A:He said, all authority has been given unto me both in heaven and in earth.
Speaker A:Therefore he said, you go into all the earth, you preach the gospel to every creature, you take my name and you cast out the devil and you lay hands on the sick and they will recover.
Speaker A:And if you drink any deadly thing, it won't hurt you.
Speaker A:Authority in his name.
Speaker A:Authority in his name.
Speaker A:Glory to God.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:Somehow there's a thrill in that that I can't express.
Speaker A:I can't put it in words.
Speaker A:I could preach it in other tongues, but then I don't know that I could interpret.
Speaker A:Just goes beyond human ability to fix words in your mind and say it.
Speaker A:But it is the realization that Jesus Christ went to the cross to buy back with his own life, to buy back with his own heart, to buy back with his own blood, to buy back with his own mind and the torment of his own mind, to buy back.
Speaker A:To buy back the dominion and the authority that was invested in Adam in the first place.
Speaker A:And the Bible said again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world.
Speaker A:He saith, let all the angels of God worship him.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Good Jesus was raised from the dead with words of authority.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Glory be to God forevermore.
Speaker A:God creates with the words of his mouth.
Speaker A:And then he by covenant delegates authority to this man Adam.
Speaker A:Then you and I both know that treason occurred in the Garden of Eden.
Speaker A:The Bible said in First Timothy 2:14 that the woman was deceived, but the man was not.
Speaker A:That man had his eyes wide open.
Speaker A:Of course, most men reading the book of Genesis read it with a certain amount of chauvinism in their thinking.
Speaker A:They think that, and I read it this way.
Speaker A:I'll have to admit it, I read it this way.
Speaker A:It doesn't read this way, but I read it this way.
Speaker A:In fact, let's go over there and look at third chapter Genesis.
Speaker A:I warn you men, right now, if you don't want to be embarrassed for a minute, well, you ought to read it anyway.
Speaker A:Verse 6.
Speaker A:When the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof and did eat and called her husband way over yonder in other parts of the garden, working diligently and hard at work, not knowing that his wife was at home goofing off.
Speaker A:Now, Adam tried to portray that to God.
Speaker A:God said, how come you to do what you did?
Speaker A:He said, oh, is that woman you gave me?
Speaker A:No, she's the one that did that to me.
Speaker A:What does it say?
Speaker A:When the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her.
Speaker A:And he did eat.
Speaker A:He was standing right there.
Speaker A:He saw the whole thing.
Speaker A:He heard the whole thing.
Speaker A:He heard the whole conversation.
Speaker A:The Bible said the woman was deceived, but he was not.
Speaker A:He stood right there and heard Satan con her.
Speaker A:He stood right there and heard her misquote God.
Speaker A:She said, God said that they couldn't even look at that tree.
Speaker A:God never mentioned anything about not looking at that tree.
Speaker A:In fact, how could you tell the thing and not look at it?
Speaker A:How you going to dig around a tree with your eyes shut, huh?
Speaker A:But he didn't say a word.
Speaker A:He just stood there, knowing that he had dominion over that serpent.
Speaker A:Knowing that he had dominion over everything in that garden, whether it crawled or whether it swam or whether it flew.
Speaker A:He stood right there and Watched that thing happen.
Speaker A:And then fear clutched him.
Speaker A:He was afraid he's going to lose his woman.
Speaker A:He lost sight of the authority that God had given him.
Speaker A:And what he should have done was stomped his foot, slapped that stuff out of her hand and said, you get over here and shut your mouth.
Speaker A:I'll talk to you later.
Speaker A:In the name of Almighty God, whom I serve and who created me and who put me in this garden in his name, now you get and you crawl the dust of the earth from now throughout all of eternity as a sign to the rest of the creation that you don't have authority here.
Speaker A:God's word has authority here.
Speaker A:He could have turned around there to her.
Speaker A:He could have interceded for her and called her up to him and said, now, now God's going to forgive you because you're deceived.
Speaker A:He could have saved her, but he didn't do it.
Speaker A:He walked away from the authority that was delegated to him.
Speaker A:How?
Speaker A:Through God's word.
Speaker A:Oh, I wish that had been me in that garden.
Speaker A:I wouldn't have done that.
Speaker A:I want you to know how to give the devil what false that have been me standing there.
Speaker A:Oh, really?
Speaker A:God in his covenant has spoken in these last days unto us by his Son, and has said unto us, take unto you the whole armor of God.
Speaker A:Put on the whole armor of God that you may stand against the wiles of the devil.
Speaker A:And having done all to stand.
Speaker A:Stand there for.
Speaker A:Well, I know it says that, Brother Copeland, but you just don't know what they did to me.
Speaker A:Well, yes, now, brother.
Speaker A:Now I realize that the Bible says that, but you have to understand that we are just men.
Speaker A:There you go again, trying to lay it off on Eve.
Speaker A:There you go again, trying to lay it off on mortality.
Speaker A:There you go again, trying to skirt it, trying to cop out, trying to get around it.
Speaker A:When all the time Almighty God himself has said, you stand forever.
Speaker A:You stand and you take the sword of the Spirit and bust him with it.
Speaker A:That's the Texas translation, but you get it.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:The way we have been acting in our own personal lives is exactly the same way that Adam acted.
Speaker A:And not only is it as shameful as what he did, it is more shameful than what he did.
Speaker A:He didn't have Calvary he could look to.
Speaker A:He didn't have the blood of the Lamb laying at his feet.
Speaker A:He didn't have the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:The Bible says in the 8th and the 9th Psalm that these things were put under his feet in the name of God.
Speaker A:But the Bible said God hath given him a name which is above every name, that at that name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that he's Lord to the glory of God the Father.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:You'd have done the same stupid thing, the same dumb, ignorant thing we've been doing ever since this has come about and ever since it's been revealed to the body of Christ.
Speaker A:Letting somebody else do it.
Speaker A:Well, if I could just get brother so and so to come back town and lay hands on me, I know I'd be healed.
Speaker A:No, you wouldn't.
Speaker A:Oh, yeah.
Speaker A:Brother, why don't you stand on the word of God?
Speaker A:Well, now, you know, you just don't understand the kind of problems that I have.
Speaker A:Maybe God doesn't want me to be healed.
Speaker A:He wants me to be sick.
Speaker A:He's going to teach me in this sick.
Speaker A:Well, then why don't you ever learn and get healed?
Speaker A:I'm serious.
Speaker A:I hope you take what I'm about to say as the way it's intended to give it to you.
Speaker A:Because I used to say the same thing that I just got through saying.
Speaker A:I didn't say it to put you down, but I did say it to get your attention.
Speaker A:But God's mercy endureth forever.
Speaker A:Thank God it does.
Speaker A:Thank God it does.
Speaker A:Because that kind of talk would have had us all wiped out.
Speaker A:Thank God his mercy endureth forever.
Speaker A:And I'll tell you something else while I'm at it.
Speaker A:God is through with that junk.
Speaker A:Blaming sickness and disease on him, claiming he did it, trying to teach us something you never will find in the whole Bible.
Speaker A:Where sickness and disease is the teacher of the church.
Speaker A:It is not.
Speaker A:The spirit of God is the teacher of the church.
Speaker A:The spirit of God has never made anybody sick and don't blame that off on him.
Speaker A:God set his own staff members of 12 Jesus Own Men.
Speaker A:He set them against sickness and disease and said, you go lay hands on them, they'll recover.
Speaker A:He set them against sickness and disease.
Speaker A:And then he set 70 more.
Speaker A:That's 82 that he set against sickness and disease in his own life, in his own ministry, plus himself was against sickness and disease.
Speaker A:Disease, that's 83 plus.
Speaker A:Then he set the whole body of Christ against sickness and disease and said, go to the whole world and lay hands on the sick and they'll recover.
Speaker A:And he also said, a house divided against itself will fall.
Speaker A:It's time to quit talking like that.
Speaker A:I know what one preacher said.
Speaker A:It tickled me.
Speaker A:He said, you know, you've been saying that sickness gets you close to God.
Speaker A:He said you can get in the word of God and get in contact with him and get healed.
Speaker A:Not just close, get in contact.
Speaker A:Oh, listen, the contact with God will heal you.
Speaker A:You don't see anywhere in the Bible where Jesus said, now I'm going to tell you something, you nut, you.
Speaker A:You're going to keep this leprosy for six more months because God and me are going to teach you something you don't.
Speaker A:Dirty dog, you.
Speaker A:Did he ever say it?
Speaker A:Was there a single one of them ever came to him?
Speaker A:Wasn't a sinner?
Speaker A:Was there a perfect one ever came to him?
Speaker A:I'd like to ask you one other thing as we close it, because this is important from the word of God.
Speaker A:It's important to our thinking.
Speaker A:It's important to our concept of the authority of the believer.
Speaker A:And that's what we're talking about.
Speaker A:When Jesus sent his people out and it said, and they brought unto him the lame, the halt, the blind, the sick, those possessed with evil spirits, and he healed them all.
Speaker A:What in the world kind of a yardstick do you suppose they were using to pick them?
Speaker A:Because they did an awful good job of picking.
Speaker A:I mean, if he wasn't going to heal them all, brother.
Speaker A:I mean, they had a picker among them.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Because he's healing them all.
Speaker A:He's picking good somehow.
Speaker A:Another.
Speaker A:What were they picking?
Speaker A:I mean, would you go out there and say, no, no, you can't go, man.
Speaker A:Cause you.
Speaker A:You've sinned.
Speaker A:What they going to do that wouldn't got to bring any of them in there.
Speaker A:Well, now we're only going to take you and you and you, because the rest of you'll have to stay over here.
Speaker A:You got to stay over here now because, you know, I mean, you.
Speaker A:You can't go.
Speaker A:No, you can't go.
Speaker A:No, you.
Speaker A:You're.
Speaker A:You're not the right kind.
Speaker A:Well, what kind does it take?
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:You know, what kind it takes somebody to believe what he said, somebody that believed what he said.
Speaker A:That's what kind it took.
Speaker A:And when you go out and hunt them, it's easy to find out which one's going to get it.
Speaker A:I can go through this congregation right here, and if I had enough time, I can go through here and talk to every one of you.
Speaker A:30 seconds, and I can tell which one of you are going to receive.
Speaker A:Because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth will speak.
Speaker A:And I can come up there and say, well, thank God, Jesus Is here.
Speaker A:And Jesus will heal you.
Speaker A:Isn't it great?
Speaker A:Well, you know, you never know, Brother Copeland, what God's going to do.
Speaker A:I sure do hope so.
Speaker A:But I mean.
Speaker A: 've been hurt like this since: Speaker A:And I mean, it don't look like me.
Speaker A:I'm.
Speaker A:Just forget it.
Speaker A:Just go sit down over there.
Speaker A:But you walk up some fellow and said, well, you know, Jesus will heal.
Speaker A:Yes, bless God.
Speaker A:He will.
Speaker A:If you'll get your hands on me, I'll get it now.
Speaker A:Oh, I'm telling you, those are the kind that God's hunting.
Speaker A:And you walk up to them some fellow and say, well, Jesus here.
Speaker A:Oh, I know he will, Brother Copeland, because I ain't missed a Sunday in 21 years.
Speaker A:Just sit down.
Speaker A:The stars in your quarterly is not going to get you healed.
Speaker A:One of these days, we're going to find out that you don't buy this stuff from God.
Speaker A:It's all a gift.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:How do you get it?
Speaker A:By taking advantage of the authority that's been given to us in the Word and receiving it.
Speaker A:If you're a human being and you've sinned and ever been ungodly, you qualify for the gifts of God because the Bible said he died for the ungodly.
Speaker A:Oh, did I ever qualify for that?
Speaker A:Oh, do I ever qualify to receive from God?
Speaker A:And so do you.
Speaker A:So do you.
Speaker A:Just by throwing yourself at his feet and saying, thank God you gave us the authority to receive.
Speaker A:You've said in your word, by his stripes, I'm healed.
Speaker A:And I'm receiving it now in the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:And I'm going to walk in it and talk it.
Speaker A:And that's all.
Speaker A:I'm going to walk and talk from here on out.
Speaker A:And I want you to know I thank you for it right now.
Speaker A:You mean that's all you have to do?
Speaker A:Mm.
Speaker A:The only thing of it is, you're going to have to believe it in your heart and confess it with your mouth.
Speaker A:That's the way you got saved.
Speaker A:It's the way you got the Holy Ghost, the way you're going to get healed.
Speaker A:It's the way you're going to prosper.
Speaker A:You know why?
Speaker A:Because that's the way.
Speaker A:Did you ever hear something.
Speaker A:Did you ever hear some guy say, I've been in the way for 28 years, and he has flat been in the way.
Speaker A:Been in God's way of everything he wanted to do.
Speaker A:Oh, let's stand on our feet and praise the Lord.
Speaker A:The believer has been given God's authority in the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:Oral Roberts said something one night, I just have to share this with you.
Speaker A:It is so rich.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:If you see Brother Roberts anytime soon, tell him I'm preaching his sermon, will you?
Speaker A:He said, when Ron, his oldest son, first got out of the service, he was out in California and he was trying to buy a car to get a home in.
Speaker A:He didn't have any money.
Speaker A:And he'd gone around to several banks trying to borrow money.
Speaker A:And he did.
Speaker A:He didn't want anything from his daddy.
Speaker A:He's going to get it on his own.
Speaker A:And you know, there wasn't anybody in Los Angeles going to loan somebody from Oklahoma any money.
Speaker A:And they just kept turning him down, you know, and turning him down.
Speaker A:He just finally got tired of it.
Speaker A:He just.
Speaker A:He finally walked into one banker and he said, well, would it do any good if I told you I was Oral Roberts son?
Speaker A:He said, well, he'll get you the money.
Speaker A:And Brother Roberts said, you know, he told him later, he said, daddy, when I told him I was your son, he didn't see me anymore.
Speaker A:He saw you.
Speaker A:And when you stood before the throne of Almighty God and you spoke in the name of Jesus, God didn't see you anymore.
Speaker A:He sees Jesus.
Speaker A:He sees that poured out blood.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:And when you stand in Satan's face and you tell him in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, you take your arthritis, you take your other junk that you tried to pin on my body, and you get out of here with it.
Speaker A:And don't you be a long time about getting either.
Speaker A:He doesn't see you anymore.
Speaker A:Why you have a suit of armor on, and it's God's suit from head to foot with the sword of the Spirit in your hand.
Speaker A:He don't know but what that might be.
Speaker A:God in that suit of clothes.
Speaker A:The Bible says, resist him.
Speaker A:He'll flee from you.
Speaker A:He'll flee from you.
Speaker A:The word translated flee in the Greek text means to literally run because of stark terror.
Speaker A:He'll run in terror from you.
Speaker A:He has no faith.
Speaker A:He can't stand and fight.
Speaker A:He's filled with fear.
Speaker A:He's a fear motivated, fear activated being.
Speaker A:All prideful persons are.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Father, in the name of Jesus, we do bless you and thank you this evening for your word.
Speaker A:We prayed when we began and it's come to pass.
Speaker A:Thank God we have a clear insight into Jesus and the authority of the believer.
Speaker A:And now, Father, I pray over every man, woman and child in this congregation.
Speaker A:I pray the prayer of faith.
Speaker A:I pray now and I lift them up unto you.
Speaker A:And I know in the name of Jesus that we'll get results.
Speaker A:Because I'm not coming in the name of Kenneth Copeland.
Speaker A:I'm coming in the name of Jesus, whose I am and whom I serve.
Speaker A:And accepting and using the ministerial authority invested in me when Jesus was raised from the dead.
Speaker A:I make certain, certain calculated faith, calculated word, calculated decrees and statements.
Speaker A:And I expect Jesus my high priest, the high priest of my profession and confession.
Speaker A:I expect him the healer.
Speaker A:I expect him the Savior.
Speaker A:I expect him the developer of my faith and the baptizer of the Holy Ghost.
Speaker A:I expect him, my Lord and my provider.
Speaker A:I expect my covenant Lord to rise and see to it that what we in faith declare comes to pass in the spirit and in the soul and in and in the body of everyone in the sound of my voice.
Speaker A:Heavenly Father, I pray for these people first of all spiritually.
Speaker A:I'm asking you in Jesus name that not one single person in this place will leave this room and not be born again.
Speaker A:I'm praying and I'm asking you in Jesus name that not one single person in this room go to hell and miss heaven.
Speaker A:I'm praying in Jesus name that every person in this room will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Speaker A:If they haven't done so already.
Speaker A:I pray for all of those that have already made Jesus Christ the Lord of their life.
Speaker A:And I'm asking you to lead them on, to become strong, stalwart, spiritual giants of faith, walking in the land, declaring that Jesus is Lord.
Speaker A:I pray for them mentally.
Speaker A:I pray for them to be made whole.
Speaker A:Whole and strong in their minds.
Speaker A:You said we've not been given a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind.
Speaker A:And I decree with my mouth and I speak and I say, have a sound mind and be renewed by the word of God.
Speaker A:In the name of the Lord Jesus of Nazareth.
Speaker A:And I believe that I receive healing in the mind of every single person in this building that needs healing in their mind.
Speaker A:And a fear ruled, worry ruled mind is a mind that needs healing in the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:And now I pray for the body of every person in this room.
Speaker A:I hold their physical being up to you, Father.
Speaker A:I hold them up to you.
Speaker A:And I declare with my mouth by stripes they are healed.
Speaker A:In the name of Jesus, I demand as a believer.
Speaker A:I demand and I decree sickness and disease.
Speaker A:You listen to me, I'm talking to you.
Speaker A:I demand and I decree in the name of Jesus, every sickness, every disease.
Speaker A:Bow your knee to the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:Bow your knee to the name of the Lamb of God.
Speaker A:Bow it now.
Speaker A:In Jesus name be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea.
Speaker A:In the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:Oh God.
Speaker A:Oh God.
Speaker A:Your word says I would above all things, that you prosper and be in good health.
Speaker A:So I pray now.
Speaker A:I pray for every person in the room.
Speaker A:I pray for them to prosper.
Speaker A:To prosper.
Speaker A:To prosper where they work.
Speaker A:To prosper in their jobs.
Speaker A:I'm asking you, Father, to reveal to them the ways of the world, of the spirit.
Speaker A:The financial realm of the spirit.
Speaker A:Not just this natural world.
Speaker A:I speak to want.
Speaker A:I speak to lack.
Speaker A:I speak to debt.
Speaker A:And I command you to loose God's people and get out of this place.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:Now, in the name of Jesus, with every head bowed and every eye closed.
Speaker A:I've already prayed for you.
Speaker A:Anyone that would say to me tonight, brother Copeland, I don't know Jesus as my Lord and my Savior.
Speaker A:But I want him right now.
Speaker A:I want to be saved.
Speaker A:I want to begin to walk for Jesus.
Speaker A:I want this life.
Speaker A:I want you just to slip your hand up before God and before me as an act of your faith, signifying to God.
Speaker A:I want it.
Speaker A:I want in it.
Speaker A:Yes, I see it.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:In that one?
Speaker A:Yes, ma'am.
Speaker A:Anyone else?
Speaker A:That one.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:In that one.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:What's most important.
Speaker A:Yeah, I see it.
Speaker A:God sees it.
Speaker A:And don't get the idea that people around you look down on you.
Speaker A:Dear God, we'd raise your hand for you if we could.
Speaker A:That's the reason we're all here to get you in.
Speaker A:We all had to come the same way anyway.
Speaker A:Is anybody that say, brother Copeland, I know Jesus as my Savior, but there's sin in my life and I want it out.
Speaker A:I want to leave here and ride fellowship with God.
Speaker A:Would you lift your hand?
Speaker A:Oh, yeah.
Speaker A:All over the building.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:I want you to lift them up again on either one of those.
Speaker A:If you raise your hand on either one of those two propositions, raise your hand again, I'm going to lead you in prayer.
Speaker A:And the prayer I'm going to lead you in is about to change your life in the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:I can say that boldly because it's scripture.
Speaker A:Jesus said, anyone that comes unto me, I will for no reason cast him out.
Speaker A:Now, don't go by what you feel anyway.
Speaker A:Believe what I just said to you.
Speaker A:What I just said was scripture.
Speaker A:That's Jesus speaking to you.
Speaker A:I will for no reason.
Speaker A:Turn them down or cast them out.
Speaker A:Now let's everybody else raise your hand with them.
Speaker A:We're going to go with them.
Speaker A:Praise God.
Speaker A:To the throne of grace.
Speaker A:Pray this loudly enough, you can hear it with your own ears.
Speaker A:It's important.
Speaker A:That's all.
Speaker A:The rest of us pray it aloud also.
Speaker A:We'll lead them to the throne of grace.
Speaker A:O God in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Speaker A:I believe Jesus is alive and has been raised from the dead.
Speaker A:Lord Jesus, come into my heart to live forever.
Speaker A:I repent of sin.
Speaker A:I renounce the past and I receive eternal life.
Speaker A:In Jesus name I receive my forgiveness.
Speaker A:Fill me now to overflowing with your precious Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:I receive him by faith.
Speaker A:So my confession is this.
Speaker A:I make Jesus, Lord, and him I shall serve all the days of my life.
Speaker A:I am a believer.
Speaker A:Jesus is.
Speaker A:Is Lord.
Speaker A:Therefore I'm saved.
Speaker A:I'm reborn as of now.
Speaker A:I say it by faith.
Speaker A:I believe it.
Speaker A:So it's done in Jesus name now.
Speaker A:Thank him for it and praise him for it.
Speaker A:The name of the Lord.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:Now every single person in here that needs guidance, every person in here that needs something in the intellectual realm, you need.
Speaker A:You need your mind to be stronger.
Speaker A:You know, you might have had a mind that's full of worry and full of doubt and full of unbelief.
Speaker A:And you know, your mind has not been operating the way you believe it should.
Speaker A:Free and clear and full of.
Speaker A:Of.
Speaker A:Of.
Speaker A:Of God's word.
Speaker A:You're being conformed and you know it.
Speaker A:I want you to lift your hand.
Speaker A:I've already prayed for you.
Speaker A:And we're going to lift your hand and receive it right now.
Speaker A:Say it out loud with your mouth.
Speaker A:I've not been given the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and a sound mind.
Speaker A:So by faith in the Jesus that I serve, I receive a sound, unworried mind.
Speaker A:Fear depart from me in the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:I agree with what Brother Copeland prayed.
Speaker A:We are in agreement.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:My confession is I have a sound mind.
Speaker A:I refuse to worry in the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:I have a good memory.
Speaker A:I'm hard to fool because I have the mind of Christ.
Speaker A:And I commit now to fill my mind with the word of God.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:Thank him for it.
Speaker A:Rejoice in it.
Speaker A:Amazing Jesus.
Speaker A:Now, all of you that need a manifestation of God's healing power in your body, raise your hand.
Speaker A:Oh, this is going to be miracle time right here.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker A:God said before the service Is started at the spirit of God.
Speaker A:God's going to heal in here tonight.
Speaker A:He's been doing it.
Speaker A:Some of you healed already and don't even know it.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:Say this out loud with your mouth.
Speaker A:Sickness and disease, you have been rebuked in my behalf in the name of Jesus.
Speaker A:And so I agree, you are rebuked.
Speaker A:Depart from me therefore.
Speaker A:Pain, get out of my body.
Speaker A:Sickness, leave my body.
Speaker A:I'm talking to you in Jesus name.
Speaker A:I agree with the word that says, by his stripes, I'm healed.
Speaker A:I agree with the word that says.
Speaker A:That says, greater is he that's in me than he that's in the world.
Speaker A:I also agree with brother Copeland.
Speaker A:According to the 18th chapter of the book of Matthew.
Speaker A:And it shall be done according to what we've prayed.
Speaker A:So by faith, I say it.
Speaker A:So by faith, I'm moved.
Speaker A:I'm not moved by what I see.
Speaker A:I don't live by what I feel.
Speaker A:I believe God's word.
Speaker A:And his word says he bore my sickness and carried my diseases.
Speaker A:So, sickness, you're not mine.
Speaker A:And since you're not mine, get out of my body.
Speaker A:I trust I am not willing for you to stay in Jesus name I speak well.
Speaker A:Rejoice in that name and praise him for it.
Speaker A:Now let me give you the key.
Speaker A:Let me give you the key to manifestation.
Speaker A:Manifestation in the physical realm.
Speaker A:As you leave here tonight and all day tomorrow and all day the next day, Every thought, every, every time anything comes your way, it makes you even think about any sickness, any disease, you say with your mouth, no, no, no.
Speaker A:The power of God's working in me.
Speaker A:Thank God that power is working in me.
Speaker A:Oh, praise God.
Speaker A:Brother Copeland and I are in agreement.
Speaker A:And Jesus said, it shall be done for them by my father, which is in heaven.
Speaker A:And his power is working in me.
Speaker A:Thank God that anointing's working in me.
Speaker A:Thank God that anointing's working in me.
Speaker A:Praise the lord.
Speaker A:That anointing's working in my teeth.
Speaker A:That anointing's working in my eyes.
Speaker A:Oh, thank God.
Speaker A:That anointing working in my back and in my body.
Speaker A:Yeah, but, brother Copeland, I don't feel anything.
Speaker A:I want to ask you something.
Speaker A:How hard would it be for you to walk out of here and say, well, thank God the electricity is working in the wires.
Speaker A:You don't see it.
Speaker A:You just have faith that it's there.
Speaker A:You don't walk up on your doorstep when you get home and fall down on the st.
Speaker A:My God, I hope that electricity's on in this house if it ain't on it.
Speaker A:Now, I'm going to be dark and I can't fix any toast in the morning.
Speaker A:I'm not even going to be able to bathe in hot water.
Speaker A:My God, if it's not electricity, what am I going to do?
Speaker A:You know, if you paid your bill, it's there.
Speaker A:Jesus paid your bill, it's paid.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Hallelujah.
Speaker A:Say it.
Speaker A:The power is working in me now.
Speaker A:I know it is.
Speaker A:God's word said so.
Speaker A:So thank God.
Speaker A:I believe.
Speaker A:I receive.
Speaker A:Praise the Lord.
