Shownotes
This week the team of Matthew, Dion and Rhys review the extensive filmography of the acclaimed and influential director, Martin Scorsese. Starting with Goodfellas (1990), Cape Fear (1991), Taxi Driver (1976) and Raging Bull (1981) the discussion focuses upon Scorsese’s repeated use of specific actors and his skill in creating trust on set which enables great on-screen performances.
The chat even considers Scorsese’s storytelling and use of music in documentary making with commentary on The Last Waltz (1978) and George Harrison: Living in the Material World (2011).
Our presenters are Matthew, Dion, and Rhys. The episode was engineered and edited by Emily Main.
