About Our Guest:
Jessica Urie, RN, BSN, LCP-C, CNLCP, is a registered nurse with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare field. Her professional background includes emergency and trauma medicine, clinical trials, endpoint adjudication, case management, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare education. She has also contributed to cardiovascular research, with work published in the field. In 2019, Jessica transitioned into Life Care Planning. She is the owner of JHU Consulting LLC and the co-owner of MedEx Strategies LLC.
Jessica currently serves as the Past President of the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP), having held the role of President in 2024. She has been actively involved with the organization through service on the editorial board of the AANLCP Journal of Life Care Planning and participation on the AANLCP Conference Committee. She chaired the 2022 Conference Committee and co-chaired the 2023 and 2026 Conference Committees. In addition, Jessica has authored multiple articles for the AANLCP Journal of Life Care Planning and has presented webinars and conference sessions for AANLCP. In recognition of her contributions, she received the AANLCP Ambassador Award in 2022 for her outstanding work on the AANLCP Conference.
