On this episode of Out of Focus, Shannon Stewart sits down with her mom to talk about a reality that so many people quietly wrestle with.

She went to church. She believed in God. She followed what she was taught. But deep down, there was still a distance she couldn’t explain. She didn’t know how to get a hold of Him… and she didn’t realize she was missing the very thing she was searching for.

Until everything broke.

In her own words, it was in that place of emptiness—when nothing else could fill what she felt inside—that she finally cried out for truth. And God met her there.

Not through religion.

Not through tradition.

But through His Word.

What followed wasn’t just a small shift—it was a complete transformation. From confusion to clarity. From striving to surrender. From knowing about God… to actually walking with Him.

In this episode, Shannon and her mom talk about:
