“God can write straight with crooked lines.” That advice from St. Teresa of Ávila is at the heart of this conversation as Ben Seago and Richard Escalante talk about discerning the priesthood. One came from Texas. One came from Venezuela. One loves music. One is learning English. And for the first time, both are in the Diocese of Amarillo at the same time and sit down with The WTC to talk about the joys, challenges, surprises, and blessings of answering God's call...in our first-ever bilingual episode! Two seminarians, two very different stories, one shared vocation. And yes...there are video games. 😂
