Hello, everyone, and welcome to God Talk with Kim D,
Speaker:a Christian podcast for Christian singles as well as for non-believers looking
Speaker:for a meaningful relationship that can lead into marriage.
Speaker:Hi, I am Kim D, and welcome to my podcast.
Speaker:Before we get started, I would like to start off with prayer because I want
Speaker:to make sure whatever I am saying on this podcast,
Speaker:that God is leading me by the Holy Spirit to speak into your lives and that
Speaker:you are being blessed and that you hear what the Holy Spirit is saying.
Speaker:Amen. So let's get started.
Speaker:Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus,
Speaker:I ask that the Holy Spirit would direct me in speaking what you want to be said
Speaker:to the people that are watching this podcast.
Speaker:I pray that each and every one of them are being touched by your spirit.
Speaker:And that God, they would hear what the Holy Spirit is saying and that they would
Speaker:hear the the heart of God and to know without a shadow of a doubt that you, you Father, you God,
Speaker:you are the one that is speaking to them, to their hearts in the name and by the blood of Jesus.
Speaker:Hi everyone again and thank you for tuning in to God Talk with Kim D and I am Kim D of course.
Speaker:So let's get started. The message that I have today,
Speaker:and I wanted to talk about this because of what's happening in our world today
Speaker:when I'm seeing how there's so many broken families and men are not a part of
Speaker:their families as much as they should be.
Speaker:And there's a lot of single parents, you know, a lot of single women that are
Speaker:raising their children.
Speaker:And this message years ago, it's probably been about a good eight years,
Speaker:I preached this message to a group of men in prison.
Speaker:And I was telling them what God wanted me to tell them about their rightful
Speaker:place as the father in their household and how they needed to take their rightful
Speaker:place according to what God says in Scripture.
Speaker:So the message is, you are the head and the high priest of your house.
Speaker:So I'm preparing you men that are single to know what your rightful place is
Speaker:when you get ready to get married.
Speaker:And if you decide to have children that God has orchestrated and has designed
Speaker:the man to be the head of the household.
Speaker:Now, a lot of men think that means slave mentality and it doesn't.
Speaker:It means that God has given you the authority and has put you the head of the family.
Speaker:Now, I looked up the word in the Webster Dictionary, the word head and what it means.
Speaker:And it means this, a chief, a person with authority to lead.
Speaker:So men, you have the authority to lead your family and the design that God has created men to be.
Speaker:You are the head of your household. hold.
Speaker:So the word royal priesthood, and if you look this up in 1 Peter 2.
Speaker:Verse 9, it will give you the definition of what the royal priesthood means.
Speaker:And it means of you being the priest of your house.
Speaker:Now, again, it's not saying you're the slave master and you're telling your
Speaker:wife and your kids do this, do that.
Speaker:No, God is entrusting you to
Speaker:direct your family in the way that God wants that family to be directed.
Speaker:He wants you to be the head. He wants you to be the strength.
Speaker:He wants you to be the protector.
Speaker:He wants you to lead as God has led.
Speaker:And he wants your family to know who Jesus is.
Speaker:This is your position as the head of your household.
Speaker:Now, I dotted down a lot of different notes.
Speaker:And one of the things that I want to talk about is for order for you to stay
Speaker:in that position as the head,
Speaker:you need to understand what Satan's strategic plan is to destroy you.
Speaker:He wants to take you out of your position.
Speaker:He wants you not to follow in the way that God wants you to follow in leading
Speaker:your family in the way that God wants you to lead them. Amen.
Speaker:He's, first off, God created you as the head, the man first, and the woman second.
Speaker:This is in Genesis chapter two, verse seven. It shows the order.
Speaker:Adam was created first, and then God created a helpmate, and he created Eve,
Speaker:and took the the rib, excuse me, out of Adam and created that woman.
Speaker:So you are the first and you are the head of what God has designed at the beginning of time.
Speaker:Now, Satan's plan, and I need everyone to really listen to this.
Speaker:Satan's plan is to destroy the families. And this is what he's doing today.
Speaker:He is over there in everybody's way trying to destroy the family,
Speaker:the family unit, because he doesn't want it to be a family unit because we are
Speaker:a family when we come together with God.
Speaker:We are the family. The church is a family. We gather together.
Speaker:We go worship the father together. We praise the father.
Speaker:And then the shepherd, meaning the pastor of that church, is teaching us and
Speaker:imparting what God wants us
Speaker:to know to go back and to live life the way God has told us to live life.
Speaker:So pastors are trying and some of them are doing a great job in building up
Speaker:men to be the royal priesthood,
Speaker:the head of their families. Amen.
Speaker:I'm telling you, Satan wants to destroy you.
Speaker:That's the bottom line. He hates you. He does not like you.
Speaker:Anything that has any relations to God, he wants to destroy it. He's a father of lies.
Speaker:He tells us lies. He tells us things that are not true. He tries to show us
Speaker:things that don't even have anything to do with God.
Speaker:He's going to lead you away from God. He is not going to bring you to God. Amen.
Speaker:Satan is here to kill, steal, and to destroy.
Speaker:Look in the book of John chapter 1010. he is here to steal, kill, and destroy.
Speaker:He wants to steal from you. He wants to steal what God has placed in you.
Speaker:He wants to kill you because he doesn't want you saying anything or he does
Speaker:not want you to be directed in the things of God.
Speaker:He doesn't want you to minister the things of God. He wants to destroy and he wants to kill.
Speaker:He is like a roaring lion on this planet trying to see who he can devour.
Speaker:He wants to destroy man.
Speaker:And guess what, people? If you are in the things of God and you have accepted
Speaker:him as your Lord and Savior, guess what?
Speaker:Satan can't touch you. Now, Now, there may be these trials and tribulations,
Speaker:but be good of good cheer that God is going to take you through and he is with you.
Speaker:God said he will never leave you or forsake you.
Speaker:He will always be there no matter what you go through, because there's going
Speaker:to be times that we're going to have joy and peace.
Speaker:And then there's going to be
Speaker:times where we're going to struggle and we're going to struggle in things,
Speaker:but God is telling us to trust him and to keep our eyes on the cross because
Speaker:he's going to help us through. Amen.
Speaker:Praise the Lord. So to stay in your position, there's the following actions
Speaker:that you are going to have to take.
Speaker:One, having a godly character and knowing who Jesus Christ is.
Speaker:For order for you to stay in your position that Satan cannot take you out,
Speaker:you're going to have to have a godly character.
Speaker:You're going to have to know the things of God to keep you founded and as a
Speaker:rock concrete that you won't be moved like sand going back and forth.
Speaker:You need to put on the full armor of God God.
Speaker:Every day, every day, you're going to have to put on the full armor.
Speaker:Every day, you're going to have to confess
Speaker:the word, pray, and ask for the protection for you and your family.
Speaker:Ephesians 6, 11, chapter 6, verse 11, talks about the full armor.
Speaker:Unity as one with God. You're going to have have to be in unity with God.
Speaker:For order for you to be the high priest and the head of your family,
Speaker:you're going to always have to be in unity with God.
Speaker:You're going to have to hear what the Holy Spirit is telling you to be directed
Speaker:into doing life the way God wants you to do life and how to protect your family
Speaker:and what you need to do to make sure your family is walking the way that that God wants them to walk.
Speaker:You need to be in tuned of the things that are happening with your wife.
Speaker:You need to be in tuned with the things that are happening with your kids.
Speaker:You need to know what they're learning in school, what friends they are hanging
Speaker:out with, what they're listening to, what type of music, what type of artists
Speaker:that they're following.
Speaker:You know, parents, and I'm talking to you parents that may be single and you
Speaker:parents that may be single that are non-believers,
Speaker:you need to pay attention to what's going into their ear gate and what they're
Speaker:seeing because Satan is out there presenting things as being beautiful and telling
Speaker:you it's okay when in fact that is not.
Speaker:You need to take your rightful place and start listening and seeing what schools are teaching your kids.
Speaker:You need to know what's on television. And if it is not representing God,
Speaker:then you know what? Your children shouldn't be watching it.
Speaker:Because I'm telling you, that is another way
Speaker:that the enemy comes in through the air gate and through our eyesight to distract
Speaker:our children and to distract us in not knowing or staying into the foundation
Speaker:of God and following and doing what God has called us to do.
Speaker:You need to have self-control. You need to have self-control of the things that you're doing in life.
Speaker:You need to have self-control. If you're looking at porn, then you need to have
Speaker:self-control and say, say, no, I'm not going to watch this.
Speaker:If you're watching something that is always demonic, then you need to not watch this.
Speaker:If there's foods that you're eating that are not healthy for you,
Speaker:that are not good for you, then you need to not eat those foods.
Speaker:You need to ask God to direct you in the way to live life.
Speaker:Check out Titus chapter two, verse 11 through 12.
Speaker:And it talks talks about self-control.
Speaker:Now, for order for you to be able to lead your family in the right way, you need to have power.
Speaker:And I broke it down of what power means.
Speaker:P means pray. You should be always in prayer.
Speaker:You need to pray always. It's called communication with the Holy Spirit, with God.
Speaker:You need to talk to God and ask God to give you direction on how to live life.
Speaker:You need to ask God direction on what things you should be purchasing,
Speaker:what things you should be teaching your family, what things that you need to
Speaker:do to build up your faith and your strength in the things of God.
Speaker:You need to find out if God has asked you to do missionary work or asked you to to start a ministry,
Speaker:then you need to stop and listen and pray and ask God to give you the direction
Speaker:and to give you the strength and the power that you can do the thing that God
Speaker:is asking you to do in your life.
Speaker:O means obedience. You need to be obedient to the things of God.
Speaker:You need to listen to when God is telling you to do something.
Speaker:Because I'm going to tell you something.
Speaker:It is hard sometimes to be obedient.
Speaker:If God is telling you not to eat that, then don't eat it. If God is telling
Speaker:you not to hang around with that person, then you need not to do that.
Speaker:If God is telling you, I need you to fast, then you need to listen to God.
Speaker:If God is telling you, I need you to pray more. I need you to get up at five
Speaker:o'clock in the morning or four o'clock in the morning and sit down with me and talk with me.
Speaker:You need to be obedient in obedience in the things that God is telling you to do.
Speaker:W, drink like water so you can be replenished. Drink water.
Speaker:Get yourself filled with water so you'll be healthy.
Speaker:Drink water. If you're a soda person, cut down on the soda and start drinking water.
Speaker:Have water help you because water is going to keep you healthy and to get you
Speaker:to the place that God wants you to go. Amen.
Speaker:E, exercise.
Speaker:You need to exercise to have power. Because if you're not feeling well, guess what happens?
Speaker:The enemy comes after you because you get lazy, you get complacent,
Speaker:and you don't want to do anything.
Speaker:So without exercising, how can you keep your mind in the place where God wants you?
Speaker:If you have a healthy body, you're going to have a healthy mind.
Speaker:So it's really important to exercise to keep your temple healthy.
Speaker:Because I'm going to tell you something. I hate to say this,
Speaker:but I'm going to say this.
Speaker:People always look at the appearance of people.
Speaker:Yeah, they do. And unfortunately, and it's sad to say, as humans, we judge by what we see.
Speaker:And I'm not telling you to exercise and to drink water so you can look good,
Speaker:so somebody can look at you and find you attractive, but for your health.
Speaker:When a person sees that, they're usually like, wow, this person has their life in order.
Speaker:This person is very disciplined.
Speaker:This person is doing things that is keeping them healthy. Amen.
Speaker:And then rest. You need to rest.
Speaker:And what I mean by that is that you just rest in the things of God.
Speaker:If it's reading a book, then read a book. If it's playing a game, then play a game.
Speaker:If it's sitting at home in your PJs, then sit in your home in your PJs.
Speaker:But rest your mind so you can build yourself up so you can do the things for
Speaker:the Lord and that you can follow what God is telling you to do.
Speaker:Because people, we do need to rest. rest. We need to rest because life itself is so busy.
Speaker:We're over here doing this and that and having these different appointments
Speaker:and we have to take care of this and take care of that.
Speaker:But you've got to rest because resting is allowing you to allow the Holy Spirit,
Speaker:God, to come in and to speak to you of the things that he wants to talk to you about.
Speaker:God just wants to talk with He wants to bless you.
Speaker:He wants to teach you and he wants to educate you.
Speaker:He wants to show you who he is and to show you that he is a God that truly loves
Speaker:us and what he did on Calvary for us. That's why Easter is so important, Resurrection Day.
Speaker:That's what I call it, because God rose the third day.
Speaker:He took all of our sins on the cross so you and I could communicate with him
Speaker:and have a relationship with him as our father. Amen.
Speaker:Amen. Amen.
Speaker:He will renew and rebuild your rooms.
Speaker:God promises to redeem.
Speaker:The dreams in your life. To take our pain from our past to rebuild our future.
Speaker:Nehemiah 2.12 God wants to renew us.
Speaker:He wants to rebuild us. And he wants to take our wounds.
Speaker:And he wants to make them in the place where he's rebuilding us.
Speaker:Everything that has been ruined in your life, he wants to take that and rebuild it for you.
Speaker:So if you have lost a marriage and you're single now,
Speaker:or you're a single person, or you're a non-believer and you have lost,
Speaker:I'm here to tell you that God wants to rebuild the things that have been destroyed
Speaker:and to make things new so you can get on track,
Speaker:that you can serve him.
Speaker:And he wants you men to know that you are the head of your household.
Speaker:Amen. Men, I hope that this message has spoken to you men and that God is speaking
Speaker:to your hearts in the way that you have never heard this word before.
Speaker:So I want to end in prayer.
Speaker:I'm going to pray for Israel, and then I'm going to pray for you that are non-believers.
Speaker:Heavenly Father, I pray for Israel. I pray for the peace there, Lord Jesus.
Speaker:I pray, Lord Jesus, those who lost their family members at the time of that
Speaker:horrific attack on Israel.
Speaker:I pray, Lord Jesus, that the angels of God are in the four corners.
Speaker:I pray for the peace in Jerusalem.
Speaker:I pray for the peace among the Jewish people, the Christians,
Speaker:and the Muslims. I pray for peace.
Speaker:And I pray that God, by the Holy Spirit, that they will see who you are.
Speaker:I pray for the peace of Israel.
Speaker:And Heavenly Father, Father, those who don't know you, I pray that they come
Speaker:into knowing who you are.
Speaker:I pray that their hearts are willing to accept you as the Lord and Savior.
Speaker:That, Lord, they would see you as a good God, a God that loves them,
Speaker:a God that has created them, a God that says, I forgive you if you come and repent for your sins.
Speaker:God is a faithful God, and God is a God that forgives.
Speaker:And I pray for them, Lord, that they would know who you are as the Lord thy God.
Speaker:Amen. And as I end, a couple of things.
