Tara MacDonald [:

Hi, I'm Tara from Plus Fitness with Tara. I'm a curvy, fun body, positive coach and personal trainer. I love business and fitness. Do you have the tools you need to be a rock star in fitness? A healthy love of yourself and help

Danielle Melanson [:

for me and sifting through health news will do that. I've got fitness topics and guests.

Tara MacDonald [:

Rock stars aren't born, they're bred and experienced with fire.

Danielle Melanson [:

Let's do this together.

Tara MacDonald [:

Hello and welcome to Plus Fitness with Tara, the podcast today. I have my guest Danielle Melanson today and we're super excited to have her on board. We haven't touched base in a while. We're going to catch up. We're going to talk about Amare. We're going to talk about the all too famous GLP1s. We're going to talk about how Amare has a take on this and we're talking about success and we're going to talk about confidence building and we're basically going to have a feel good session where if you have questions you can find Danielle online. And you know, and, and, and honestly, you know, I just want to say Danielle, thank you again for coming into the studio and doing this because spring has sprung and we are ready for it.

Tara MacDonald [:

Right?

Danielle Melanson [:

We sure are. And thank you for having me. I always love, we have always have a blast whenever we do a podcast together. So I'm always a herd. Yes. Whenever you want to talk about anything. So thanks for having me.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah, yeah. Okay. So guys, for those who don't know, GLP1 medications are FDA approved, often injectable prescription drugs that treat type 2 diabetes and obesity by mimicking a hormone to increase fullness, reduce appetite and slow digestion. Common examples include semaglutide like Ozempic and tirazepatide like Zek Bound, typically used alongside lifestyle changes to manage your weight and lower blood sugar. And just to let you know when we talk about this with Amare, Amare Global Canada does not sell Prescription Pharmaceutical JLP1 medications. Instead, Amare offers natural plant based nutritional supplements designed to support the body's natural production of the GLP1 hormone through gut health, particularly with their weight management product lines. And also I want to say that Amare products work through the gut brain access to help reduce cravings and support a healthy microbiome rather than directly mimicking the hormone at a high pharmaceutical level. So Danielle, what can you share what about these Amare products with us today?

Danielle Melanson [:

Yeah, and that's exactly like, like I'm telling you. ChatGPT is my BFF. But it's so good because like, I mean, do you remember the days where we used to have to walk to the library and open up an encyclopedia, like totally aging ourselves. But it's like, whoa. We. I love having all this information because you know, there's good and bad things about everything in these. This is one of the amazing benefits of having all of this information at our fingertips. So yes, I have vast knowledge of GLP1s.

Danielle Melanson [:

I have like firsthand experience with it. My husband was on one, I think I mentioned that to you earlier for blood pressure and cholesterol, which it totally controlled both, which was amazing. He's off that now, but he actually gained 15 pounds on a full dose of Ozempic. So you know, it worked for him in a health, it was a important medical intervention for him, for his health and it is for so many. But what we do here at Amare is different. So we do not have, like you said, a prescription medication. This is an all natural supplement.

Tara MacDonald [:

Supplement.

Danielle Melanson [:

So in specific, our new weight management product is called Slim to Fit and it is a GBX Gut Brain Access product which means that it works with your natural gut biome, healing the gut biome and you know, signaling from our gut, which we know so many things, our hormones, which really a Jeep GLP1 is a hormone peptide. And you know, our brain health, our mental health, our immunity, our energy, everything comes from our gut. And so this is just another one of our products that is based on the gut Brain Access. So at first when I heard about this, you know, I've been in the fitness industry, you know, as a nutrition specialist, a personal trainer, Pilates, you name it. And I've also, you know, my highest weight was 250 pounds. So I have been on my own weight loss journey, you know, lost between 75 and 80 over the years, over the decade. So I know I work with myself as you know, my, my own experience and then experiences with other clients that I've always had. So how would this work? I was so curious, Tara, because what, what makes this different? Why now? Like what really is this? Because, you know, I think we're all sick and tired of overpaying and on products that under deliver, especially with social media and influencers and everything like that.

Danielle Melanson [:

So when I realized that this product was science backed first and foremost, all natural, first and foremost. And created by a doctor. Her name is Lisa. Doctor, Dr. Lisa Rossimo. She's out of Florida. She has two major weight loss clinics. She's been in, she's Been.

Danielle Melanson [:

She has a fellowship on the bariatric board of North America since 1989. Yeah, 89. And she has over 30 years of experience in this field. So when she was brought into our research and development, our owner, that's one thing I love about Amare is our one owner and he just goes for it. And he said to her, here's my Ilab. You don't have a budget. He said, take a full year to pro. To create.

Danielle Melanson [:

Create your dream product of what? The problems you see in your clinics with people with obesity, weight loss issues, weight loss resistance hormone, and all of the health issues that come with that. What you would create in your dream supplement. And this is what she did. She created the Slim to Fit, and it was just launched in January. So I was very skeptical, but I knew the science behind it. Of course I trust my company and, you know, kind of learned about it. So basically, it does have. It works with protein, potato protein, which helps keep you full and satisfied.

Danielle Melanson [:

It also has another ingredient in it that naturally kicks in our own CCK hormone. So CCK hormone and GLP1 is in our bodies. So it's not adding these hormones to our bodies, which an injectable peptide would. It's allowing our bodies to turn the on button back on of these hormones, CCK and the. Our natural GLP1, because these are peptides that our bodies make naturally. And especially over 40, man or woman, they like to just shut off, go on vacation, sayonara. I'm just gonna stop working. And so I had so much interest in it, obviously, because so many people struggle with, you know, emotional eating and, and weight loss, resistance and all of the things that go around with.

Danielle Melanson [:

With that. And I have to tell you, the feedback has been incredible.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah. And what I love too, because, like, I follow Danielle online. She's available on Instagram and Facebook and stuff like that. And one of the things that I want to mention too is like, you know, what's great is Danielle does a lot of video stories. So you get to know her a little bit before. Before. Before you read her posts and stuff like that. So you get a feeling for who she is.

Danielle Melanson [:

So.

Tara MacDonald [:

But one of the things that I love is the post she does, like, on Facebook and Instagram. Danielle Milan, 7 on Instagram and. Or is that the Kirk one? Yep, yep. Okay. Just want to make sure. God, I keep. I keep pulling wrong people stuff. Daniel Mellowson, 7 on Instagram and Danielle Mellon on Facebook.

Tara MacDonald [:

But one of the things that I love is like, the stories because, like, it Shows people's reactions about how they feel about all this. We talked about, you know, what GLPs are and what the whole thing does and how it works and stuff that you know, like it's a, you know, generation next generation weight management supplement. But like people feel amazing.

Danielle Melanson [:

They do. And like we talked about this and it gives them hope. So this is the other thing I want to mention to you. And you know, I say this to all of my customers before they, but they order. I'm like this is not a magic pill. So if we're going to continue to, you know, not follow ideal nutrition and I'm always talk about balance. Nobody loves a beer and a chicken wing more than me. But like and, and move our bodies and it doesn't mean you have to go and lift a gazillion pounds in the gym.

Danielle Melanson [:

You know, I recommend light weight lifting and walking, do you know what I mean? Like, or just walking to start. I always say don't start with anything extreme. But if we're not making those lifestyle changes, even if you are taking an injectable GLP1, you're not going to get those results. You're not going to get those weight loss results. You know, you might get the blood sugar regulation, you might get the cholesterol reduction because that is a pharmaceutical injected on a cellular level. But I always remind people it's not a magic pill but what it is, it's a leg up. It is a leg up. And I think how many times have I heard from so many friends, clients, people in my classes, I am doing the things and I'm getting zero results.

Danielle Melanson [:

Now we all know that we have to give ourselves more time, especially if you're over 40. It's not going to happen like when you were in your 20s. That's another thing that this slim to fit does. It works with a thermogenic. It's, it's caffeine free but it has a special chili powder thermogenic in there to kickstart your metabolism as well. Right? But you're never going to have that 20 year old metabolism. So you just gotta rip. Make peace with that and know that this is a supplement, an all natural supplement with no side effects that is going to give you a leg up when you are doing the right things.

Danielle Melanson [:

Right. Because there's no such thing as a magic pill. There's no such thing as a magic bell. Yeah, yeah.

Tara MacDonald [:

And if there was a magic pill we would all take it. Do you know what I mean? Like it's just one of those Things. And what I. What I had to love was I came off of Chalene Johnson's like, camp be more conference that she had the summit in Henderson outside of Vegas. And it was great. But there were women there who, you know, well, there's a lot of California in the room. I just want to say this. Here's California ladies.

Tara MacDonald [:

There was a lot of. There was a lot of. A lot of plastic surgery and spray tans going on. But, like. And I was like, I missed the memo on that one. But. But I had to laugh because there are women there who are completely blatantly open about using GLP1s and they're thinner than me. Let's just put it in comparison.

Tara MacDonald [:

I know comparison is the thief of joy. I'm not downing myself at the same time. I'm just saying they're very open about what they do, the whole thing, you know, why they do it, what happens for it, what's going on. They wanted to share information. If you had questions, you know, it was about managing hormones in the healthiest way that is possible for them.

Danielle Melanson [:

Absolutely.

Tara MacDonald [:

And I actually ran into a few people who mentioned Amare because they said Amare is on the leading cusp of developing products that help people get exactly the words used. A leg up. Do you know what I mean?

Danielle Melanson [:

A leg up. Right. And I remember when I. When I joined this company, well over three years ago, I was thinking to myself, you know, I was so skeptical. Again, I'm the most skeptical consumer out there. So whenever anybody's skeptical, I totally can meet them where they are. And that's what I saw. Even without this weight loss supplement, even just the.

Danielle Melanson [:

Our happy chews are healing my gut. And starting there, those three years ago was absolutely life transformative as far as bloat and energy and, you know, mental clarity and brain fog and just managing my perimenopausal symptoms. And this Slim to fit takes it to the next level. And so you can understand because I know you drink happy juice. And so when a lot of people are interested in the weight management, I. If it's in their budget, I really say they need to do both. You know, I'm like. Because, you know, the reason I feel like this, the slim to fit work so well is because I'm using it with my happy juice, which is healing my gut and managing all of those per menopausal symptoms at the same time.

Danielle Melanson [:

And so that's what I say to people like, you know, you know, this is what I'm using. I'm not just Going to sell you what you want to buy. It's not a bad thing to use on its own. But I let them know this is what I'm doing, this is how I'm eating. And another thing I do, Tara, is that any of my clients, customers who are using that supplement, I do have a Facebook group for them where I share tips, tricks. I did a post yesterday on walking. I did a high protein snack recipe today. Because Amare this we're getting ready to do our second six week program.

Danielle Melanson [:

So along with myself, the company actually does a six week challenge where the creator, Dr. Lisa Durrassimo, does 20 minute weekly Zoom calls for anybody, everybody in the group. A group zoom where she talks about different lifestyle things. She says, basically, we're getting the coaching here free in that group. On a zoom call that she would be giving her clients who pay hundreds and hundreds and thousands of dollars to see her one on one in her social Florida clinic, which is amazing. And that's included when they buy the product, which is just awesome. So they're offering that support. Corporately, I'm offering that support.

Danielle Melanson [:

But you know, it's so funny because again, you know, we're just human. So a lot of people buy the product, they try it for 30 days and then I see that they've canceled, you know, turned off. And. And that is fine because that's what a lot of us do because we still want to see those results and we still want to see them quit. Even though we know it's not 1985, even though we know we're over 40, we still are human and we still have that inside of us. We feel disappointed, we feel like it didn't work, quote, unquote. And so what I'm hearing now that most of my clients, including myself,

Tara MacDonald [:

have

Danielle Melanson [:

continued with it in good faith, including myself, are seeing month two and month three rapid changes. Rapid changes. And so I even had somebody who sees me out and she messaged me, she was like, I can't believe the difference I've seen in you. I saw you at One Dance, February 14, and she said, then I just saw you last weekend. And I thought to myself, what has she done? She said, help. Can you help me? And I was like, I did. I don't get on the scale, so I don't know how much weight I've lost, but I'm like, I did go over one belt notch and people are saying these things and then I'm getting messages from clients and they're saying, I didn't go on the Scale. And all of a sudden, I stepped on the scale.

Danielle Melanson [:

And in month three, I lost ten pounds. Like that?

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah.

Danielle Melanson [:

It's almost like your body needs to.

Tara MacDonald [:

It's a little time to adjust.

Danielle Melanson [:

Needs time to adjust. It needs time to be in your system. And it's like, I say this to my husband. I'm like, did you take your slim to fit today? He's like, oh, I keep forgetting if it's not in front of me, like, you can't bust by the treadmill. You've got to get on it. So I'm diligent with taking it twice a day. It go. It's twice a day, 30 minutes before your two largest meals.

Danielle Melanson [:

So I take mine in the morning before my breakfast. I take it at lunch. I'm. Lunch is my biggest meal of the day, and then I'm good to go. And. Yeah, so it's been really my story is what I'm hearing the most with people. I'm hearing how they can have, you know, a couple of bites of dessert and they're done, and they feel like they're in control. It's silence, this food noise.

Danielle Melanson [:

Especially around us. Coming off the Easter holiday, a lot of people are saying, you know, the sugar just doesn't taste the same.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah.

Danielle Melanson [:

You know, like, it's just. It's almost like they feel like they have that hope and that control so that when they make those good choices and when they move their body, when they prioritize sleep and, you know, all the things are so important, reducing stress, then the body responds because it has this leg up.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah. And, you know, it's kind of like. So it's the same thing, like when people first start. Went to the gym, even as, like, um. Even before I became a certified personal trainer and I was running my fitness club, doing the CPCC coaching to help them with the stress and the wellness in their lives first. You know what I mean? Like, tackle it psychological to me. Because, like, if you don't tackle the psychological, you know, I hate to break to you, but there is no magic pill. And any amount of workout will not help you if you can't get your head straight.

Tara MacDonald [:

Do you know what I mean?

Danielle Melanson [:

Exactly.

Tara MacDonald [:

What Amare lets you do with the happy juice combination, well, is feel that calm, relaxing feeling. You know, I still use the skin stuff. The problem is I don't use it every day, like you said. Do you mean, like, it's kind of one of those things, and then if I travel, I forget it because, like, it's an additional thing in My carry on. And then I'm like, I miss it. But like, it still works for me. The. Between that and like the happy juice, there's this calming, like, okay, this is.

Tara MacDonald [:

I started my day, I was a little anxious, and now, like, I. I can, you know, move through it and not worry about it. But I feel like the combination of that allows you to have a leg up with the coaching side, psychological side of it too, as well. Do you know what I mean? Not only is slim to fit gonna work with the physical, you know, if you give it enough time, but so will the Amari habit juice. And I gotta tell you, I'm telling you, when I did the happy juice in like day three, the brain fog lifted and I've never had it back because I drink that religiously. I was just like, oh, my gosh. It was just like, I don't. I don't understand why I didn't know about this beforehand, you know, so everybody I meet, I'm like, happy juice, happy juice.

Tara MacDonald [:

You need to talk to Danielle. But I had to laugh because it's like leading a horse to water. You can be like, hey, here's the whole river. Drink what you want. And they just look at it, you know, and you're just like, okay, they're not ready yet. Do you know what I mean? But when they are, they will. Do you know what I mean? So, and then I love even the people who like, test and be like, oh, you know, this water is too dirty. I can't.

Tara MacDonald [:

I can't drink it or go in it kind of thing and back away. Because that's the people who give it the 30 day try. If you hang in there for three minutes, the same as weight training, if you give yourself three months, you will see the scale tip. Do you mean? But it's just that you also got to realize you're building muscle, so it might tip a different direction than what you want it to tip in. Do you know what I mean?

Danielle Melanson [:

Exactly. And that's what I say to people all the time. Don't go by the scale. I know people want to know the number and I get that. And, you know, we're all human, but I say take pictures and then nobody wants to take pictures. I get it. I'm like, you don't have to show me. But sometimes what happens is that we're losing inflammation.

Danielle Melanson [:

And not. That doesn't always reflect on the scale either. So people are losing inflammation, not just food from their bodies, but they're debloating, their faces are slimming out. They're not having inflammation in their joints.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah.

Danielle Melanson [:

All of the things that are happening, that is part of the process. And you know what? That's what another reason why I love this company. Because we give a 90 day money back guarantee.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah.

Danielle Melanson [:

So that's why I say to people, just try it another month and save your empty boxes, send them back. You know, like, because you already invested. I always say, like, if you don't give it that 90 days and even more. Right. What if it was 91? That was the tipping point for you.

Tara MacDonald [:

Right, Right.

Danielle Melanson [:

It has been. I have a, it's so funny. I have a client and she shares her story. She shared way back with me and allowed me to kind of put it out there publicly where she just, she said, I trusted Danielle enough. And she was in month five and boom, lost 24 pounds but hadn't seen anything because her gut health was so poor up to that point. What if I hadn't trusted Danielle and she's the one who messaged me, she's only in her first two weeks of adding in the slim to fit. And she was like, I put the chocolate in my mouth and looked at my mother and said, it doesn't taste good, it tastes like wax. I'm like, well, was it good? Chocolate tastes pretty good.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah.

Danielle Melanson [:

And. But she was like, no, I just found I didn't have any interest for it. I'm really looking forward to seeing what this does, you know, and she's, she's stacked that for happy juice as well. So, you know, these are the kind of stories that we're getting, you know, that are really, really long term, lifestyle changing, life changing, you know, stories and it's just so inspiring.

Tara MacDonald [:

Well, and can I say too, like, I think for one of the things that I, you know, after having watched, you know, Bodhi go through its transition and stuff like that, from Beachbody to Bode to the whole thing, it was kind of one of those things where the people who were the real go getters and really going after the entire structure and the environment and wanting to do were looking for something that was more innovative than what they could provide at the time. I'll simply say that from an outside perspective, even though I was a client and coach myself, you know, it was the same old thing and you're constantly selling it and it's just like people didn't want it and it was the mile of resistance that was there. But you talk to them about how you can have a product that eliminates brain fog, improves your gut Health and makes you just feel great if you give it 90 days and you get your money back. If you don't, they're like interested. Do you know what I mean? And then you say, hey, we also have these other products which are great. Like I use the hair stuff all the time. I love it. I love it because it's not got the added water, do you mean? Like it's just, it's cool, concentrated.

Tara MacDonald [:

So like it just. You don't use as much and then therefore you're saving money. Like in this day and age, who doesn't want to save money? Especially after this week, everything going on, like, it's just like with the gas prices and stuff, you're just like, okay, I gotta, I gotta, I gotta, you know, pull it in and not spend money and not do this whole thing. And what I love about seeing you with Amari too is like seeing how you have the people who are getting the results who like you just said, built a relationship of trust and, and waited until their body responded and, and that's patience and self love. You need to give yourself whenever you're trying any kind of program or any kind of interesting thing that Amare has to offer because they do studies on this. They give clients beyond the background. So.

Danielle Melanson [:

Yeah, yeah, beyond studies. And that's why, you know, going from working with a public company for, you know, 11 years with BODI and then, you know, deciding to make that twitch, it was a big one. Like it was a big one because it was what I knew and what I trusted and. But there was no innovation, like you mentioned, there was no innovation. I remember, it's funny story, I remember I was like dabbling in happy juice. I'd been sent happy juice. I loved it. And my husband was, you know, we were doing it together in the MRI business and I was still obviously so, you know, ride or die, you know, doing the beachbody way and everything that it was that, that was relevant a decade before but wasn't relevant anymore.

Danielle Melanson [:

And I remember being in, I think it was St. Louis at the convention and I was like, you know what? I'm not going to jump ship. I'm going to stay here because they're going to come out with something, you know, a new innovation. They're going to, they're going to show us something at this convention that we've been asking for for years and years and years. Gut health, hormone health, a female women's supplements who studies all the things and they came out with a different flavor of shake. That was their big name. And I just, I was kind of like in that moment, I was like, they had an opportunity to innovate and they didn't. For whatever reason, you know, I'm not there.

Danielle Melanson [:

I'm not the business owner. But I was like, this is my path with a company who is owned by one owner who is dedicated to every product that we come out being one of a kind and the only of its kind on the market. Do you know what I mean? And that was the kind of science driven, moving forward progression I wanted to be a part of. And it was not. It was not an easy decision, but it was definitely the right one.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah, for sure.

Danielle Melanson [:

Yeah.

Tara MacDonald [:

And I would say too, like, you're making an impact on people's lives in such a personal way that there's this emotional aspect too. I've talked about the coaching and like, you know, how to get into the self love and the self care. But there's a lot of work that goes on with anything as you approach any kind of new program, whatever it is, or any kind of new product or service. But what I love about Amari is it has everything in there to help coordinate what you need to do for a well rounded, healthy lifestyle. Just ask and try. Do you know what I mean? Like, it's just like, you got to take that jump, you know, And I just. What I love about you is people see you on your stories, get to know you, and they're just like, yeah, I'll give it a shot, you know, like, just like. And then.

Tara MacDonald [:

And then literally like, you know, they're coming back to you. I mean, you know, like she said, if it had been five months or a year for her to hang on, she hung on and saw the results, you know, but it wasn't a year. I mean, that, that would be very. That would be a very long time.

Danielle Melanson [:

That's a little long. Yeah.

Tara MacDonald [:

I don't know if I'm gonna hung on a year. I think the gut would rebound faster than that.

Danielle Melanson [:

But like, absolutely.

Tara MacDonald [:

But like, but at the same time, just, you know, I think what you're doing is on the right path, not just for you, but for people who need you. And I think what you have to realize is it's a necessary function to be on social media so people see the side of you that attracts them, to encourage them to buy the product that is going to help them with their health and wellness. So.

Danielle Melanson [:

And that's so true. And you know, I, even with everything going on in the world, took a big step back recently from social Media, because I just didn't know how to show up. And you know me, Tara. I will not just show up to show up if I. If it's not authentic, I'm like, forget that. I cannot fake it till I make it. You know, what you see is what you get with this redhead. And.

Danielle Melanson [:

And I've just slowly started to be coming back once I've kind of found my light through, you know, the. The fog of this. This world that's out there and just kind of had a clearer message to share. And I love that you know that, and that's reflected. So thank you for that.

Tara MacDonald [:

Oh, yeah.

Danielle Melanson [:

I've even talked to somebody the other day, and I'm like, don't even think that you have to walk 3K. I was like, I want you to start walking. And I'm like, I want you to start at five minutes and then see if you can do that three times a day. Like, I want to get this mentality out of people's mind that they have to change everything or it has to be big, because that is just so wrong. That's what stalls us in our tracks. You know, it's. I'm seeing it, too, in my. I'm teaching adult line dancing on Friday night.

Danielle Melanson [:

Okay. Got a big crowd, 60 people, paid and registered, you know, having so much fun with it. But I have to tell you, the people my age and older, so our, you know, we were brought up with that 100%, that perfection mentality more than, I think, generation.

Tara MacDonald [:

100%. Yeah.

Danielle Melanson [:

I. I've gotten two emails from women who. And this is a beginner. Beginner line dancing who said, because they didn't get it on week one, wanted to not continue. And I said. I said what? They were like, I just find that I'm not getting it. I'm like, you've gone to one class, and I post videos in our Facebook group that lets you practice with me during the week, included. Right.

Danielle Melanson [:

In your $10 a week fee. And I said, are you using the Facebook group to practice with? No reply. But I really find that when I'm dealing with a lot of people, we're hard on ourselves.

Tara MacDonald [:

Oh, yeah.

Danielle Melanson [:

Want to get it right away. You don't realize that it's a lesson. Yeah, we're in it to learn. We're in it to have joy with no judgment and have fun. And the same thing goes for our wellness routine. It doesn't mean that you can't go out on the weekend. You know, should you go three or four times on the weekends? No, but, you know, you have to have those practices. You have to start small.

Danielle Melanson [:

You have to start with that five minute walk. You have to start with week one of line dancing. And we review week one on week two, you know, and practice makes perfect and slow and steady wins the race. And we just really have to adapt that more in this society. This high pace. Go, go, go. Want it now, want it yesterday mentality. And, you know, that's kind of where I'm trying to get that message across and support people through that.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah. Well, I think you're doing a great job and we're going to wrap up in about a minute, but I just want to let everybody know that Danielle and I have worked together into various aspects over the years and I've never seen something fire up even more. Like her energy is contagious. We're on screen. We can see each other right now. We're audio only right now. But like I'm telling you right now, if you want someone who's going to give you the support you need, you need to reach out to Danielle. Find her on, you know, Facebook.

Tara MacDonald [:

Danielle Milanson. D A N I E L L E Melanson. M E L A N S O

Danielle Melanson [:

A N S O N. Yep.

Tara MacDonald [:

A N S O N and Danielle Malonson, seven on Instagram. And like, you will connect with her and then you'll see the exact same thing that I see, which is not just a fire for Amari, but for country line dancing, for her dogs, for her husband. I think about that in the right order.

Danielle Melanson [:

And you totally did.

Tara MacDonald [:

And, and, and, and, and understand where she goes next. You know, you're going to want to be. So like, definitely reach out to, to Danielle for that. In closing, do you have any final thoughts? You know, is there anything that you would have, you know, if someone said to you, I'm still unsure. Do you know what I mean? Is there anything that you would say to them that, you know, in a few sentences that you could sum up, you know, with your experience so far, what's going on? Like, you know, how would you, how would you, how would you throw out the life raft? Right. Like the life ring?

Danielle Melanson [:

That's a really good question, Tara. I think what I would do is just say, you know, what if this was the one thing that worked for you.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah.

Danielle Melanson [:

That made you unstuck. That made you unstuck, you know, because it was for me, this was the one thing that made me unstuck and gave me hope and feeling like, yeah, I'm 49 years old. And I'm in the best health of my life. I'm. I'm in the best shape of my life, and I'm doing less with less, you know, white knuckling the wheel of life than I ever have. You know, it's. It's just a priority shift and, you know, giving yourself care and grace and all of those things have to be learned. All of those things have to be learned.

Danielle Melanson [:

But, Terry, you're just. I just can't thank you enough for having me on. You're always a breath of fresh air. I appreciate all of your support, and not just as a friend, but as a customer, because I know you know your stuff. Right? You do your research and love hearing your personal testimony as well.

Tara MacDonald [:

And here I just want to end this today by saying to everybody listening, I, in the past year, since my surgery, have lost over £40. But I know that I've done that because of the help of Amare, because I didn't change my workout skill schedule. In fact, I didn't work out as high intensity as I did in years previously, and I lost more weight than I ever have. And why, you may say, I. Even the specialist said to me, I don't know about everything you're doing, but don't stop doing it. Do you know what I mean? Because he saw the results.

Danielle Melanson [:

Absolutely. And that's the thing. Forty pounds, like, that's incredible. That's life changing, you know? And, like. And it just continues to go. And. And I love how you said it wasn't because you doubled your workouts or worked out as intensely.

Tara MacDonald [:

Right.

Danielle Melanson [:

It's not. It's not about that.

Tara MacDonald [:

No. No, it's not.

Danielle Melanson [:

It's about managing everything in balance.

Tara MacDonald [:

Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Thank you, Danielle. Thanks for being on the podcast.

Danielle Melanson [:

Cheers.
