Shownotes

One of the biggest mistakes I see principals and family offices make is assuming that a short-term employment history means a bad estate manager. With tenures of one, two, or three years being common, the conclusion is often that the person is the problem.

After years of working with estate leaders, I'm not convinced that that's true. In fact, I think we're asking the wrong question.

The question estate leaders usually ask when they see short-term tenures on estate manager resumes is: why did you leave? In this episode, I share a better question to ask the person you're considering hiring for this very important role, and why.

Sustainable operations don't happen by accident. They require leadership, structure, and a plan. This is what my new FRAME initiative (Framework for Residential Asset Management & Execution) is all about. Subscribe to learn more about my concept behind this, which I'll share in future episodes over the next few weeks.
