Facilitating the hiring process is so very important when you have a diverse search team that is looking at job fairs, hiring constituencies and community outreach programs to advertise the job posting. So make sure that you're facilitating the process with a diverse team.
Tip Number two We understand the importance that it really pays when employees are paid. So make sure that your pay equity within your organization reflects the diverse jobs, roles and models the trends that are in our society.
Don't allow gender, race or sexual orientation to put you off as a decision maker in the hiring process or diversifying your workforce. Make sure that you are going for cultural Add versus Cultural fit.
And lastly, when developing or creating policies for a diverse workforce, remember that different cultures and different difference matters. Representation matters.
Ensure that your employees that are currently a part of your team are also reflective of the team that you want to have at your organization. Celebrate holidays, celebrate cultural days and make sure that your diverse workforce reflects the values of those that work in that environment.
