In today’s episode we are going to rain on your parade. Continuing with the theme of ‘What can impact our socio-emotional neurology’ like Lead, Behavioural Variant Fronto-temporal Dementia and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, let’s now look at alcohol.

As fun and as culturally acceptable drinking has been, it also unfortunately has disastrous effects on our brains and neurons. We are going to lift the lid on these normalised and accepted traditions and extrapolate out how drinking alcohol, especially a lot and over a long term, had immense impacts on our social circles and societies as a whole. Apologies in advance but just like someone with Alcohol Use Disorder, we really need to address this systemic social amnesia.
