with my first five star of the year.

first one that is a five star for the

And it's Silver and Blood by Jesse Alek.

Now I love Jesse Alek.

of the space opera.

They're definitely super.

like historical gothic Dark Romance.

Both have secrets and they both do

some bad things, which I actually like

because it's not like one character

is the morally gray necessarily.

Like you're going through this whole

book with listen, they both do things,

they both have their issues and

maybe that's why they work together.

Kind of a marriage of

convenience situation.

The harrowing comes from a well-to-do

family, and she's a ballerina, and

and then now I caught up with book.

Christmas story, but it's not as

just a winter setting story, which

was perfect for, um, for the time.

So basically it's about a group of the

whole series is, it's a group of serial

unli and they go on these retreats.

Where they gather and they get

together and there are some, you

know, things that they have to

do as that is their profession

while they are at these retreats.

And the heroine in this book was

actually introduced in the first book,

and she wants to be one, but she's not.

She's never actually done anything.

So she wanted to go to this

retreat and get her first.

Her first hit, you know, and the hero

of this story was this guy that she.

Had an episode with in the first book, and

they don't like each other like at all.

And like he makes it his mission
